Fantastic Product

Ok, it died 28 days after purchase. But I buy a lot of electronics and understand defects happen. Vizio took immediate action and scheduled for a new one to be delivered ASAP. Customer care (Vizio) located in South Dakota owned the situation like I've never experienced before.
For the price there is nothing comparable. I'm an AV snob to be honest and I would have never given Vizio a chance. For this purchase, I wanted something under $1k with as much tech as possible. Dolby Vision, localized dimming, etc? Ok deal!
I couldn't believe the blacks, color depth, & radiant whites this model produced. Slightly dim in the corners on a completely white screen but that rarely happens. Otherwise you'd never notice. Marco Polo on Netflix... holy snozberries!! On a streaming service no less... I'm impressed. In fact, for my next major monitor purchase, I'll give the P series a strong look.
Best Buy though... that's a different story. Gone are the days of the old Magnolia HiFi (I'm from Seattle) where the customer was taken care of no matter how much you spent. I will never ever shop at Best Buy again due to how they treated a 28 day old DOA.
Specifically the manager at the Fashion Valley location in San Diego. Yes I understand that my rewards level wasn't maintained at the higher level over the past year thus giving me a 15 day exchange period vs the 30 you get with the higher level but dang... it was 28 days! There's some store level descresion according to corporate customer care but this manager stuck to strict guidelines and wouldn't take care of me.
Vizio again... yes! Best Buy again... heck no! I'll buy elsewhere. But I'm just one customer. What do they care.
