Aside from a sheer hatred for the smart cover, I absolutely love this ipad. The screen looks awesome and I love the added size. I would suggest looking at the cost to repair this screen which is significantly more than other ipads, but if you add the apple care, it's a non factor.

I think this cover is horrendous. It looks cool, but it is actually pretty cheap in my opinion. After having this in my backpack with some pressure on it, I now have lines going down the screen of my ipad and I can't get rid of them. As a result, I gave my thousand dollar ipad to my nephew because I couldn't stand looking at it. Next time I'll remember that my ipad is ridiculously fragile and my smart cover doesn't offer any protection whatsoever.
