I purchased this as a gift for my mother so she could cut some cords. From what she's told me, she seems to enjoy using it. I have one as well and use it for screen mirroring in addition to all the wonderful streaming apps. I haven't used it for gaming so I can't comment on that. The remote is a little awkward to hold at times, but it looks like they make cases to help out in that department.

I bought this to replace an AMD R290X crossfire setup. Uses seriously 2/3rds less power and still hammers through anything I throw at it. Definitely recommended for anyone running 1440p or higher. However, if you aren't in a hurry you might want to wait until the 1080 Ti comes out in a few months. Also, not the best for mining cryptos. I'd recommend AMD cards for that.

I bought these headphones for my niece. I know they're not the Beats brand that all the kids rave about these days, and she's probably not as "cool" having Bose headphones instead of Beats, but she says these are super comfortable and sound great. So I think she's happy. Plus, all the reviews I read about Beats said they break a few months to a year after using them. Pretty sure I made the right decision with these.

I bought 2 of these along with the starter kit in hopes that they would work with the Relax, Concentrate, Reading, and Energize light scenes that Philips includes in their default app. However, after hooking them up and a few Google searches later, I quickly realized that they do not actually hit the range of light that is necessary to create these scenes. Don't get me wrong they still produce great light, and I thought deep greens looked better with these than the standard bulbs, they just didn't work for what I wanted. I returned them but will probably buy them again in the future along with the LED strip lighting.

I love these lights, they're simply awesome! I use geo-location to turn on a relaxing light when I arrive home and never have to worry about turning them off when I leave. I also use the energizing light to wake up on these dark winter mornings.
I only wish the default Philips app had more features like pulsing/strobe lights, music feedback, better ability to enter a color manually (I can never reach the deepest saturation of a specific color because the selector can never follow my finger to the very bottom of the screen). However, there are apps by other developers that solve these issues, just wish Philips would integrate all the best features into one app.
