Great picture, horrible interface

My fiancé and I originally bought this TV in the hopes that the image would be as good as the other Vizio 4k TV we purchased in the past. The image was, and with supposed HDR the image seemed a bit deeper. (This was probably just due to the size of the TV) Now, I say supposed because the TV doesn't have HDR10, the one actually required to even play HDR media. Don't buy this in the hopes to play HDR video games with an Xbox one s or to watch movies in UHD with HDR, it doesn't work.
Secondly, and probably the most annoying part, is the cast system. I can see how this could have possibly been an attempt at a game changer but it was an incredible fail. The system NEVER works. It doesn't matter if the TV is connected to your router via Ethernet cable, or wirelessly on the network. Apps just don't pick it up to cast. Half the time the tablet remote won't even turn the TV on because it isn't detecting it. Yes, I've done the setup multiple times. Yes, I've done all the troubleshooting Vizio recommends. No, Best Buy won't take the unit back. This is incredibly frustrating and in all honesty, just spend the like 200 bucks extra to get the Samsung model. This thing is junk. /rant
