This film is definitely worth all of the praise that it is getting. It is a fantastic film at how journalism can actually be useful (granted we haven't seen much evidence of that lately) and the performances are fantastic. It is a slow burn but it's not an action film and it is not for everyone.

One of the best "Star Trek" films

I remember watching this when I was a young kid. It has always stuck with me because even at the age of 6 I thought it was hilarious (especially Alan Rickman's make up. This film is a great film for those who love comedy and science fiction.

This is one of the most original films in recent history. Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken and Woody Harrellson bring their all to make this movie as fun and hilarious as possible. It is also very violent so it's not for the faint of heart.

This film is a great adaptation of a great play. Fassbender and Cotillard are both great as is the supporting cast. The only gripe I have with the film is that I feel that it uses slow motion too many times. Other than that, if you enjoy Shakespeare or Medieval epics, you will enjoy this film.

Great film about a terrible time in recent history

I feel like more people should watch this film because people still blame immigrants, teachers, and others for the collapse of the economy in 2008. Adam McKay treats the subject matter perfectly. He explains every little thing in simple ways but never treats the viewer like they're idiots. The performances were all great. Even Christian Bale as Michael Burry. This film deserved all of the praise that it got. Just a fair warning, the trailer is a bit misleading. All characters have their own storyline (except Carrell and Gosling who share a storyline.)

Solid entry in the Bond series

This film had the unfortunate circumstance of being released after Skyfall which is considered to be one of the best films in the Bond series overall. It does introduce old characters as well as new ones but the reason it was so criticized was because of dumb reasons that make no sense such as the length of the film which is just a few minutes longer than previous entries. It's not the best one but it is one of the better ones.
