This camera system is pretty good. Installation is a breeze. Putting the cameras up is comparable to hanging a picture. The app works great with push notifications. I gave 3 out of 5 stars simply because in my application the cameras were constantly detecting motion and turning on. Thus the batteries died the first night. I ended up returning for a wired system.

Great setup for the price

I have an electrical background so the instalation of the cameras was easy. Hooking up the dvr was easier yet. The only issue I had was the firmware was outdated so I couldn't live view from my phone, tablet etc.. I called tech support and they got it all figured out in a timely manner.

If my wife buys the system in one state will it be possible for me to connect from my iPad or iPhone since I'm in another state?
I will not be home for a couple of months and we are wanting a video security system that we can both monitor while away from the house. Since I'm not going to be there for the set up with my devices will I still be able to sign up or register to get live feed?
