All it takes is the swipe of a finger. We connect with friends. We buy the latest gadgets and gear. We find out what's happening in the world. But with that same simple swipe, we cast an increasingly expansive shadow. With each connection, we leave a digital trail that tracks our every move and milestone, our every like and dislike. And it's not just people. Today, all major cities are networked. Urban infrastructures are monitored and controlled by complex operating systems. In Watch Dogs, this system is called the Central Operating System (CTOS) — and it controls almost every piece of the city's technology and holds key information on all of the city's residents. You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. Now on the hunt for those who hurt your family, you'll be able to monitor and hack all who surround you by manipulating everything connected to the city's network. Access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.
Watch_Dogs is a very fun game, with loads to do in it. While many compare it to GTA, the game lacks little in common other than its a 3rd person sandbox. It is more comparable to Splinter Cell or Far Cry, where your goal is to be more stealth oriented than just "shoot em' up". Although the game can be played both ways, so you are free to choose.
The multiplayer is unique, as it is mainly 1 on 1. Trying to hack or kill someone trying to hack you. There are group based missions, and even your standard races to boot. There are tons of mini-games in the single player including full game of chess, poker, and some other street games.
While a solid game, there are times where you can encounter some insane game breaking glitches, which require full mission restarts. This is VERY annoying, but the many good things in Watch_Dogs makes up for it. As the game progresses I am sure these will be patched.

What's great about it: Different concept, fun gameplay, easy multiplayer/single player transition
The absolute devastation of Emergence Day has just fallen upon the planet Sera and the Locust menace lurks in the secretly terrified corners of your heart. You are Damon Baird, leader of the elite Kilo Squad and your courage may be all that stands in the way of total annihilation. You must navigate the besieged planet in a life-or-death effort to eradicate the enemy — but is this a fight you can win? Gears of War: Judgment gives you a glimpse into the aftermath of Emergence Day, the most defining event in the history of the Gears universe, for the very first time in the most intense and riveting storyline. Follow the efforts of Kilo Squad through this campaign full of menacing enemies and challenging gameplay. The new Mission Declassification system keeps you engaged by revealing critical information upon the completion of achievements. Contend with unpredictable enemy types, timing and location with every new encounter thanks to the new Smart Spawn System. Play cooperatively with up to three friends on Xbox Live to destroy the Locust menace in the campaign, or experience the revolutionary new class-based competitive mode, OverRun, in which you play as Locusts or COG soldiers as they are pitted against each other. The saturated storyline of the Gears saga is enriched even further with numerous new gameplay modes and features in this prequel to one of the most riveting campaigns in gaming history.
Gears of War: Judgment is a good game, but it is not at all comparable to other Gears of War titles. The game is essentially your average 3rd person shooter now. Multiplayer is fun, but it is nothing unique. The ability to use 4 weapons is gone, and you are now limited to 2 weapons at any time. Most of the variety of characters are gone, and the game tries to make up for this by adding different paint jobs to the same character or weapon. Judgment is a fun game, but it is produced by People Can Fly, and not EPIC Games. People Can Fly really tried to capture a larger market, bringing in Call of Duty and Halo fans. Sadly, if you were a huge fan of the previous Gears titles, you will be a little disappointed in the game over all. If you are looking for a game for solely single player story, the story of this game is by far its saving grace. The story add's all kinds of features, and actually keeps things from past Gears games, that had been taken out of the multiplayer.

What's great about it: Lots of new features
What's not so great: To many differences to really be a "gears".
