Having purchased/installed many TV wall mounts, the Sanus Premium Series Tilt/Rotate wall mount surprised us. Why? The tilt/rotate feature is something we never had before and frankly, we thought it would be cumbersome to use.
How wrong we were. Once installed, we had a need to adjust our HDMI cables. This would have been, under our prior wall mounts, required removing our 65” Sony TV, attaching the cables, then reattaching the TV to the wall mount.
With the Sanus Rotate/Tilt feature, all that was required to accomplish this was to pull the TV forward and rotate it to expose the HDMI connection points. Voila! Easy-Pease-Lemon-Squeezy.
If you are considering a TV wall mount, spend a few extra bucks and go for the Sanus Premium Rotate/Tilt wall mount. You will not be disappointed. It’s all that and a bag of chips.

The Media Panel at our new Townhome is located on the 2nd floor at the absolute furthest point from the rear of our home.
Although our internet signal is available throughout our home, it starts to die once you move outdoor to the backyard. More specifically the signal is non-existent once you move into the garage. Not a good scenario in light of the fact I have WiFi device installed to report the status of our garage door i.e. open or closed.
Solution? Netgear’s Nighthawk MESH TRi-Band Extender.
With WPS installation, the extender was up and running in a matter of minutes. Once connected to our Netgear R8500 Router, we moved the extender to the rear of our home a viola, the dead spot outside/garage was eliminated.
If you are in the market for an extender, check out the Netgear Nighthawk MESH Tri-Band Extender. You won’t be disappointed.

As with all Apple products, the technology improves with each iteration.
I love the integration of Siri, making it easier to enter info e.g. rather than spend time typing (keyboard), Siri can now handle it. Nice. The reason we purchased Apple TV Gen 4 was the integration of DirecTV (including DirecTV Now). I want to explore eliminating the rental charge on the remote receiver.
If you're hesitant to jump over to Apple TV Gen 4, don't fret. You'll love the functionality, sleek interface, and picture quality (whether on Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection). Go for it!

After selecting our Sony 4K UltraHD smart TV, we headed over to Best Buy's Magnolia Theater section to browse the AVR's. We have been considering a number of manufacturers such as; Pioneer, Yamaha, Marantz and Onkyo, but inadvertently excluded Denon for some reason.
Nonetheless after browsing the features of the above AVR's, we came across the Denon display. With the AVR1200W ability to pass-through 4K, stream internet (wired or wireless) radio, plus allow Zone 2 playback all at a fantastic (on-sale) price, we were immediately sold!
I'm happy to report setup was a breeze with its built-in Audessy sound management/microphone features we couldn't be happier. Also, the software upgrade was quite painless resulting in an ear to ear smile in no time flat.
If you are considering an upgrade or in the market for a value rich AVR, do yourself a favor and consider the Denon AVR1200W. You'll be glad you did.

My husband and I have been considering a new TV for some time. Our present set - Panasonic plasma (50") has served us well the past 10 years however its age was beginning to show particularly with dark scenes.
Having said that each time we visited our local Best Buy, my husband made a beeline for the TV section of the store. There he repeatedly sized up price/picture quality/features, and each time found himself within the Sony display.

I've been a Netgear fan for some time with ownership of several Netgear routers through the years.
Their newest offering - Nighthawk AC5300 tri-band router filled the bill. Our family's wired/wireless needs are well served by this "smart" mu-mimo router's technology.
At any one time, on a day to day basis, our Nighthawk is managing, VOIP, a wireless notebook PC, wireless network printer, 2 iPhones, an iPad, Pandora streaming through my Denon AVR, Apex marine aquarium controller and webcam. Additionally, when our daughters come home to visit with their families, the router takes on the added workload of 3 more smartphones plus 2 additional tablets. Whew!
To date our Nighthawk has not missed a beat. We have a solid signal throughout our home (>2,000 sq ft) with no downtime whatsoever.
If you're in the market for a rock-solid router with mu-mimo technology, look no further than the Netgear Nighthawk AC5300.

Our family are fans of the Minions franchise.

Purchasing a TV wall mount can sometimes be a daunting task (fixed, swivel, tilt, etc). Which brand to trust? Which product fits my needs?
Enter Sanus. It was a company name I was familiar with i.e. they are well known in the world of audio-video resulting in a confident buy decision. The Sanus product I chose was a "fixed" wall mount. The product description met my needs to a "T."
Once home, with the product unpacked, the user-instructions were straight forward resulting in an easy attachment to my 40" Panasonic TV.
Next up was the wall mount attachment to the wall itself. The Sanus supplied stud-finder worked like a charm resulting in a first-time attempt/installation.
