I am an ex-professional photographer and all my equipment is Canon, I bought this particular camera after a lot of research for my teenage grandaughter as a gift. I configured and tested the camera prior of given it to her and I was extremely impresed with the quality and all the features that it has. I spend an hour with my granddaughter going over all the features and another hour shooting pictures and videos, by the next day she was using the camera as if she had it for a long time to include many of the special effects features. I would recommend this camera very highly for the quality and how easy it is to use.
