For Old Frigs, Is It Worth It

Buying new kitchen appliances is exciting and certainly adds to the value of any home.
Having to deal with disposing or transporting to a charity is a pain.

The asthetics of this frig is wonderful.
I have had this unit since May and a couple of things, albeit minor, but are nagging.
Only the first cup of water is cold from the water dispenser, afterwards it becomes just above room temperature. Of course, if the water dispenser is not used for several hours, then the first cup is cold.
Secondly and several others commented the same thing in other reviews, the ice maker stops working after a couple of months.
Well it is a couple of months and now the ice maker is turned down and has not returned to upright position to refill with water.
Everything else about this frig, storage space, sliding trays for tall items, and the quick access door are great features.
But I ignored the previous reviewers post with regards to the icemaker not working.
I hope it is not a repeat problem every 2-3 months now. Without the ice, water is just above room temperature after your first cup.

This is the second unit in 3 months. I originally purchased the first unit in April.
I took it back 2-3 weeks later because it stopped syncing via blutooth and sync cable.
New worked up until a month later.
I am having the same issues.
I am going back to my infrared data transfer watch.
Too much work before or after a work out to upload your data.
