I needed a monitor this size that inexpensive. I probably wouldn't have bought this brand, all things being equal but this one was on sale. I've been pleasantly surprised. It has a great picture and I was able to calibrate to my laptop easily. I would buy Acer again.

Mac mini now has fourth-generation Intel Core processors, increased graphics performance, and ultrafast 802.11ac wireless networking. It also features two Thunderbolt 2 ports, great built-in apps, and OS X Yosemite. And it's still the world's most power-efficient desktop.

Does it have a fuse?
No fuse or reset button. If it blows, you're out $26 but that's better than blowing a computer.

I would use a Western Digital My Cloud backup. Plug it into your router and your backup will run whenever you connect to your WiFi. You can even set it so you can connect remotely to retrieve your files.

Tower unit on its side?
I'm planning to use this 1500 tower style battery back up in my entertainment cabinet. Can I use the tower unit if is it laying on its side instead of standing up?
Should be no problem as long as you don't cover any fans or vent holes.
