Purchased this on sale for $80 off. It was definitely worth it. It has all the usual step counting features, but also GPS and HR monitor. The former is really helpful so that you don't have to rely on the GPS in your phone to track your route and distance. Also, I like the blue color. Much better than the standard black color.

I bought this as an alternative to my 50mm 1.8 for times when I needed to be closer to my subject. As indicated by the "-S" this is for an APS-C sensor camera. On such a camera, it really approximates the human eye's field of view. It can produce good bokeh, but not as good as the 1.8.

Affordable Replacement Battery

I purchased this as a second battery for my 7d. It's a cheaper alternative to the OEM version. My only concern is that it gets quite hot while charging in the OEM charger. Luckily I also purchased the DigiPower charger for Canon batteries with it. It does not get hot while charging in this charger. I probably wouldn't purchase it if I only had the OEM charger.

A good universal charger for Canon owner

This charger works by slipping adapter plates over the base. The good part is that because of the design, it can be used with a wide variety of Canon batteries. I have an old Rebel XTi, a 7D, and a G12 and there's adapters for the batteries in each of these batteries. The downside is that the plates themselves are a bit flimsy. Also, some of them rely on thin, plastic arms to hold the batteries in place. I imagine once one of the arms breaks you will not be able to charge that type of battery.
