The tablet remote is unnecessary but purely evaluating the displays image quality, built in sound, connections and design its the best 70 inch option anywhere near its price. Ive always bought Samsung and still feel they make amazing TV's but in the store and after getting it home i cant tell any difference between the Vizio and my 70 in Samsung which was 2x the price 12 months ago. They should offer it for $100 less w/o the android smartcast tablet remote - used it for 5 minutes and see no point to power a tablet to access a highly confusing application just to turn on your TV when it has a standard remote and the app is available for free on all common smart phones. Remote aside still amazing value for a 70in 4k LED that has a free high tech drink coaster / tablet.
Image adjusts well in bright or dark rooms
Displays black without any distortion
Built in sound is sufficient for a quiet room. I ran it to a bose surround sound but unless I have people over i use the built in speakers
Nearly now frame and only weighing 63 lbs I was able to wall mount it myself - regretted it but was able to.
I always say it as a second tier brand but unless this has major technical issues I don't see myself considering anything else next time.
Would have paid 20% more without hesitation

Can you program the remote that comes with the TV to control other components (for example, Comcast cable box, audio tuner, etc.)?
Maybe. Depends on what your pairing it to, if it needs a wifi, RF, bluetooth or app to app syncing service to establish a connection. Its an android which is an open source OS so if the hardware can talk you can find something that can make it happen. more than likely its not worth the time.

Can this model be hung on a wall
yes, just buy a wall mount wide enough to hold a 70 inch screen. most stop around 60. It uses a common VERA bolt pattern so any one you buy that can meet the size and minimal weight requirements will work.

What is the bandwidth of the WiFi connection? When I run the built in speed test it is coming back with 12Mb. I have the android remote on the same network and it comes back at 150Mb. Is it possible I have a bad antenna or WifI chip in the Monitor?
I would check again. in a residential environment 10-30 MB / S is quite good. I dont believe you can purchase a home wireless router capable of broadcasting 150 mbps. Probably saw 15 on the android - either way both are pretty good and more than enough to stream HD content without regular buffering. Time warner maxes out home delivery pre router at 50 mbps, thats peak time before a 10% drop through the modem and router

Maybe this is a dumb question but being the TV doesn't have a tuner am I able to connect my Comcast Cable via HDMI and still watch all my channels besides being able to cast Netflix, Amazon Prime via the Android Remote?
Do you have a comcast cable contract and cable box? if so, yes. just HDMI from the cable box to whatever input you want. If not you will need a free digital box converter from comcast and then run that directly to the TV through coax or HDMI

I went from a 55in Sony led tv to this 70, I gotta say I'm disappointed in the picture , is there any way to adjust the picture ? It just seems fuzzy compared to the sony
what picture setting are you using? standard, configured, configured dark, vivid, user? vivid seemed a bit jittery to me so i use configured for sports and normal for TV.
Also i did upgrade my HDMI cables when i went from my samsung LED to this 4k. Depending on your service provider buying true 4k capable HDMI's made a big difference. Time warner picture isnt great but they have poor signals, xbox one looks amazing and even apple tv at 720 is much improved.
