I bought two of these TV's. I read all the reviews and was interested to see that this model had "good sound" - and it does! I can actually hear these sets without my hearing aides. I got rid of satellite service, probably not allowed to mention their name!, and had a digital antenna installed which may be helping the sound. Otherwise, strongly recommend this set for small spaces - I have one in the kitchen and the other in my computer room. I especially like the stand - very sturdy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
