I looked at 5 TV units while at BestBuy and the only one that stood out so far as screen quality, video play back, color accuracy and a sharp picture was this Vizio M-Series 42" unit. This is a fully loaded smart TV with wireless, RJ45 port for wired Ethernet connection and easy hook up.
I highly recommend this TV to anyone who wants to have full HD viewing.

Small portable and reliable mouse

This is a mouse for portable devices (like laptops and Tablets) and for that reason it's a bit smaller then a normal mouse but it fits in a normal laptop carrying case as, easy to carry and put in your pockets (if you have no place to store it in a tablets case). This mouse is reliable, accurate and the batteries last a long time.

I was genuinely surprised with how well the Roku operated and how easy it was to setup and get working. While it include many channels you are not limited to what is listed and can include something like Dram Fever by simply typing the web link. Truly makes viewing and listening a much better experience.

Ideal picture settings
Newly purchased. Good picture out of box. Could use some tweeking. I have been trying to find a site with recommendations. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
QAM stands for quadrature amplitude modulation, the format by which digital cable channels are encoded and transmitted via cable television providers. QAM is used in a variety of communications systems such as Dial-up modems and WiFi. In cable systems, a QAM tuner is linked to the cable in a manner that is equivalent to an ATSC tuner which is required to receive over-the-air (OTA) digital channels broadcast by local television stations when attached to an antenna. Most new HDTV digital televisions support both of these standards. QAM uses the same 6 MHz bandwidth as ATSC, using a standard known as ITU-J.83b.
In short it will depend on your cable provider whether you can use your TV directly on the cable coaxial connector but nothing to lose if you try.

Bluetooth Versus USB Wireless
I have a Logitech USB wireless mouse and keyboard for my old laptop which does not have Bluetooth. I have a new Surface and a Bluetooth mouse for it. I would like to get a Bluetooth keyboard WITH the numeric keypad all in one unit for the surface but the only ones I find do not have the keypad ATTACHED (the keypads can be purchased separately or are separate units). I can use the USB keyboard with the Surface but I have to switch the USB receiver from the old laptop to the surface which I don't want to do as I may be using each interchangeably. I can get another USB keyboard for the Surface but then I will have two USB wireless devices going to two separate computers which may or may not cause problems (only the two keyboards would be USB wireless). I don't know why they don't make a full keyboard with Bluetooth but if anyone knows of one I would like to know. I guess my question is does anyone think having two USB wireless keyboards will be a problem? Thanks.

It is OK to use two of the same type of wireless keyboards as each keyboard will use a different signal, in Logitech's case the newer peripherals equipment can use the same USB transmitter so that you can have mouse, keyboard and/or camera using the one signal but the default would be single use.
So in short the answer is YES you can have two of the same type of devices (keyboard in this case) next to each other with no problems.

I have both a Logitech and Microsoft Bluetooth keyboards, while they both perform perfectly I would recommend the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for long term typing and traveling.

Is there a subscription fee to watch the "1,500 entertainment channels" advertised in the Product Features section?
.....and what are some of those "entertainment channels?" CBS, NBC, etc; or something else?
In most cases yes there is a monthly fee for most of these services however there are some that are free but to get all that they offer you would have to pay a fee or put-up with annoying advertisement.
Even with this it is still cheaper in the long run to use the Roku with the services you would use the most such as Netflix and Amazon.

Compataility of K400 Keyboard
can you confirm if the K400 Logitec keyboard will work with my Samsung UN32F5500AFXZ2 Smart TV?
Does the Samsung TV state the you need a "Compatible" keyboard or did they specified a keyboard? If they did not and you are plunging the keyboard adapter onto a USB port use what ever wireless keyboard you like. Personally I prefer a plugin keyboard but your choice is just as valid and should work fine.
How to test if the wireless keyboard will work? just plug in a wired keyboard and if it works you know that the USB port is providing the power you'll need for the the wireless adapter to connect your keyboard.

broken wrist
I am left handed and recently broke my left wrist. Im in a brace with limited mobility. Can anyone recommend a good mouse option for me.
Sorry to hear about your injury, What mobility do you have? can you move your thumb and one or two fingers? If you can then the best solution I can think of for you would be a Trackbal mouse. you use one hand and the mouse is stationary while you move the cursor with the trackball with one finger or your thumb. This requiters very little movement of the wrist.
Look up "Trackbal Mice" on the Best Buy page or do a general search on the net.

Well I haven't seen that in some time, The gaming keyboards have more keys and functions then normal keyboards and some do have a mouse pad on them or can be setup to use some of your keys to behave like a mouse. On the good side most of the gaming keyboards come with software to "Customize" the keyboard to your liking. Check to make sure that no option for a mouse emulator is set to on or enabled, if it is turn that function off. If there is no mention of this option and no visible mouse pad on the keyboard look to see if there is an update driver for the keyboard from the manufacturers site.
