Great mesh wifi router

A powerful mesh WiFi system from Linksys. This Velop is an outstanding Tri-band router. I was using the old Velop AC2200 Tri-band mesh system, which has three nodes and they are all routers. This new Velop unit is a bit different from the previous setup. This unit has a main router and two wall plug-in nodes that act as WiFi extenders. These plug-in nodes are very compact and provides reliable signals without any drop in the connection even at places far away from the main node. Both the main node as well as the plug-in nodes has a small light on the unit to indicate the status. The setup was a breeze. You connect the main node to the modem via the ethernet port, turn it on, and plug-in the nodes at various area of your place. You need to download the Linksys app to setup these units. The app also helps you to monitor your home WiFi, setup the network name and password, parental controls, guest access, channel settings, etc. The plug-in nodes do not have any ethernet ports, it solely relies on the wireless connections between the nodes. I am not sure if one can buy just these nodes in order to expand the range further. The WiFi speeds were consistent and strong through our my apartment. I did not see any dead spots and was getting good signal strengths. Overall, I highly recommend this Velop router for anyone who is looking to get their feet wet with mesh WiFi systems.

Great powerfull lightweight vacuum cleaner

This is a lightweight upright powerful vacuum for both carpet and wooden floors. The vacuum comes with two option mode controlled by a switch to change between floor mode or carpet mode. It has great suction and easy to navigate and maneuver. Setup right out of the box was a breeze. The Lift-Away mode is awesome. You can separate the main canister and carry it as you are vacuuming area like stairs or places you can't carry the entire vacuum. The dust container is pretty good size and doesn't need to be emptied very often. The brush is designed to prevent the hair, etc. from getting wrapped, which is pretty neat feature. It comes with all the necessary attachments. It is loud, but so are every other vacuum unit. The powerful motor does pick up much better. The length of the cord was perfect for me. I didn't had to keep changing my plug outlet. I never had a Shark vacuum and now I can't recommend enough to give this a chance when looking for any big name branded vacuum.

Quality all in one compact printer

Brother MFC-J690DW is a wireless all in one inkjet printer, scanner and fax machine. It is perfectly suitable for small office or home use. Setting it up was easy. When you connect it to the power, you will be presented with instructions that you can follow and print the test page as a process completion. The internal paper tray can hold 100 sheets for automatic feed. The unit comes with 2.7" touchscreen for all the menu settings and navigation. It uses 4 ink cartridges like most printers these days. I wish printers go back to the simple black and color cartridge. One nice feature is that you can scan directly to OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, etc. You can also print from any device, mobile or a laptop and also via any USB or SD card, connected directly. The print and scanning functions was pretty fast and the quality was good as well. Overall, a great compact all in one for home offices or small businesses.

Great little smart printer

HP Tango is a unique, sleek, portable smart printer. It is easy to setup and pairs with any phone quickly as well. It is voice activated. You can use it with Cortana, Alexa or Google Assistant, but make sure you are on the same network. Using the HP app, you can print from anywhere easily. This one doesn't have a in-built scanner. You use the app to scan documents and send it to printer. HP offers HP Instant Ink paid plan, with which you can print photos from your phone for free. Otherwise, the ink cartridges seem to be a bit expensive comparatively. This printer is also supported by IFTTT if you have lot of IoTs. I like the fact that this printer uses two ink cartridges, one of black and another for color instead of the four CYMK cartridges. There are no ports on the printer. All the setup and configurations are done via the phone app. You use the app to know the ink levels, how many papers are in the tray, etc. The print quality is really good. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a small portable smart printer for basic printing needs.

Neat robot vacuum machine

This is my first Neato robot vacuum. The D4 model is fairly easy to setup. It uses laser technology to scan and navigate around the house. It is supposed to work even in dark, although I didn't try this feature. You can use the app to define the area where you don't want the robot to go. On a full charge, the robot can run for little over an hour. But if the battery is low, the robot goes back to the base, charges and then finishes the cleaning. This one doesn't randomly move across the cleaning area. It does do it in a pattern. Using the app, you can setup the times and days of when you want the cleaning to be done. There is also cleaning history in the app if you want to see when the robot was run, when to clean etc. It is not too loud, yet not too quiet either. This also has Alexa integration. You can do voice commands via any of the Alexa device if you have at home. One drawback is that the robot can only connect to 2.4 GHZ network. This is a decent robot vacuum that can be added to home automation devices for automatic cleaning and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to get into these automated robot style vacuums.

Great modem router combo for everyday use

This Arris unit is a combination of a modem, router and access point. It comes with an optional McAfee Security Home Internet, which I didn't want to opt in. This is valid for three years. This is a solid device with excellent download speeds. I got consistent speeds all across my apartment. Before you setup, make sure you call your ISP to update the MAC address of this modem on their end. You can set this up using the app or via the traditional browser route. The router also has the WPS pairing option and the guest network access. It handled all my devices (8+) without any issue. In fact I did see an increase in the connection speed. The look and feel of the device is also unique and sleek. Overall, I would definitely recommended this as a replacement of old modem or router or even as a way to combine the two in one.

Excellent all in one for general usage

This HP AIO an excellent desktop computer. It is nicely designed and comes with Windows 10 Home edition. Packed very well in the box, there is nothing to assemble when you open it. The build quality feels premium. The display is a 24in touch enabled widescreen and comes with the newer AMD Ryzen processor. The included RAM is only 8GB and hard drive is 1TB, although I have read that it is easily upgradable. It also comes with 4 USB ports, HDMI in and out, Ethernet port in the back and a USB C port, memory card reader, and headphone port at the front of the bottom base.
This unit also comes with matching HP wireless keyboard, an optical mouse and a webcam with privacy cover. One thing that would have been nice is if the webcam supported Windows Hello for easy logins. This AIO supports Miracast. It makes it easy to connect to any TV wirelessly for screen mirroring. The built-in B&O speakers are pretty good, not the best and could be louder. But that wouldn't matter if you have external speakers. The booting and shutting down is fast, although it can be reduced by using a SSD. There is also the built-in DVD writer that is on the right side of the monitor. It only plays DVD, and not Blu-ray discs.
The computer is definitely feels sturdy and heavy, not easy to move around. Overall, I would recommend this AIO to anyone looking for a home or a family computer and not a gaming machine.

Great dedicated TV/Music system headphones

To start with, these headphones are of premium quality. It is not your typical wireless Bluetooth headphones. And it is not for mobile device use. This is specifically made for TV and other audio systems. It comes with a charging stand that you need to connect to your audio source. This stand has multiple inputs like HDMI, Optical, Aux , etc. to connect to devices. This stand then transmits the audio signal to the headphones. I was able to test it from other rooms to see if there is any noise disturbance for long ranges, but there wasn't any. The headphones are also light weight and fully adjustable and comfortable. It is supposed to last 17 hours, although I didn't use it for that long before recharging it. Make sure you charge it fully before your first use. There is a sound field button on the headphone that you can use to change to different modes like sports, game, voice, cinema, etc. This headphone boasts 7.1 channel crystal clear theater style surround sound. It has amazing sound quality. Overall, these are great headphones dedicated for TV and other audio systems with best sound.

Excellent player with theatre quality picture

This LG Blu-ray player has a sleek and clean design. It has USB port which can play video files, music, as well as images. The player can be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi and Ethernet. One of the best part of this player is that it comes with a separate audio out that you can connect to the sound system directly bypassing the TV. It also supports multiple HDR formats along with 4K YouTube and Netflix streaming. There are not many apps that come with the player, but LG might add the apps as they become available. It is also very easy to setup and hardly takes few minutes to connect to TV and other audio system. Make sure to use premium HDMI cable that supports all the features of this player. The picture quality is awesome with 4K resolution adding amazing colors to the images. The player itself is quiet and doesn't make any noise compared to older models when playing discs. The included remote is small, simple and comfortable, nothing fancy there. Overall, a very good player that does everything well and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new player in the market.

This is an amazing NutriBullet. It is a powerful upgrade to the 600 with added technology. It has a built in sensor that can weigh your ingredients precisely and it comes with Bluetooth to connect to your smartphone app to keep track of your calories and measure your servings. The blender itself is not too big, but the body is very well made and feels sturdy. The blades are very sharp and the motor power is doubled compared to the previous NutriBullet. It blends frozen food very smoothly. The blender cups are large in size and you can easily make two servings at once. You can use to app to control the blender with customized blending options. The app also provides with recipes with pre-measured calories. If you do your own mix, you can still enter the ingredients in the app manually to track it. And cleaning is very easy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their smoothie making machine with an added personal nutrition tracking thing.

The IR camera is used solely for the Windows Hello feature. There is another front camera that you can use it for your video chatting and other applications.

can I add ram to a surface pro 4 that only has 4gigs
You cannot add any RAM to the Surface pro 4. You have to remove the back casing in order to do so and by doing that, you will be voiding the warranty. If you are looking for an everyday device with not so heavy applications, 4GB is sufficient. If you planning to run heavy applications/games, then I would recommend the 8GB model.
