Dee (Kaitlin Olson) tries her hand at stand-up comedy as the crew from Paddy's Pub return for Season 9. Later, gun ownership is debated, Mac (Rob McElhenney) gets a special day devoted to him, and Charlie (Charlie Day) quits his job at the bar. Seann William Scott makes an appearance along the way, while Danny DeVito and Glenn Howerton are back as Frank and Dennis.
For many shows to make it to 9 nine seasons is rare. But to make it to 9 nine seasons and still be hilarious is unheard of. For the 9th season the Gang does what they always do and they do it better than any other show on TV. Still hilarious and still relevant. I look forward to the next 3 seasons and beyond!
Favorite episodes would have to be "Flowers For Charlie" and "The Gang Tries Desperately To Win An Award." This season also features the 100th episode with a beautiful animated sequence.
The extras are the usual thing that they put on the Sunny DVDs. Gag reel, commentary on a couple episodes by Glenn and Charlie, Sweet Dee's comedy reel, outtakes of Charlie's songs, etc. To be honest, I don't really buy DVDs for the extras, so I can't really judge them. I did enjoy the outtakes of Charlie's songs. Hilarious!
The first Yes album to feature vocalist Jon Davison is a really great showcase for his vocals. The music is adequate but a little on the slow side. There are no really upbeat tunes. And most of the music is keyboard driven. A shame really because Steve Howe is one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
I think the record is good but with a vocalist like Davison on board, and the talents of the other 4 gentlemen, it should have been great. I like it but I don't love it. And this is after many listens. Hopefully Davison sticks around a little longer and they make another record.
Lykke Li is one of my favorite female performers of all time. With each album she has matured. This record is just amazing. Something you want to put on, pour yourself a drink, turn off all the lights and just immerse yourself in the music. Just beautiful.
I have owned this movie twice before and wore them both out. Picked it up on Blu Ray for the first time. It looks and sounds amazing! The Rush concert scene is the best! I have watched this movie a million times and still crack up.
Danny McBride is a funny man! From his movies to his great show Eastbound And Down. This movie works because he sells it. Any other actor would have ruined this flick. Danny is the man!
Lily Allen returns with her first album in five years. The music and lyrics are typical Lily Allen. Funny and smart. I bought this for my wife for her birthday but I'm enjoying it as much as she is. Good, fun record!
