Good follow-up to Shadow of Mordor

If you liked Shadow of Mordor, you'll probably like this game. A far more expansive world with an improved nemesis system, some tweaks to combat and inventory, a massive, strategic campaign, and the deep lore that made the previous game so good. If you at all thought Shadow of Mordor was too repetitive for your tastes, then this game will not make you feel better about the series. It's still a bit repetitive early on and takes some time to develop into the impressive campaign at the core of the game.

Destiny but better!

Spectacular sequel to a sometimes troubled cluster of development in the previous installation. Just about every single aspect of this game is improved over the original. If you at all enjoyed the mechanics of Destiny 1, then you'll love Destiny 2 because it actually has a story (in the game!) a better gear system (still grindy but this time in a good way) and the same game mechanics that made Destiny stand out as one of the best shooters in gaming. Buy it!

Working great, minor gripes

Simple machine, working fine so far, just under 2 months in. Very quiet, good selection of cycles.
Minor gripes (which were known before purchasing, to be fair):
(1) Curved top - who doesn't use the top of their dryer as a work surface for laundry? Curved top is an unnecessary aesthetic design choice, and arguably inconvenient. Probably done to match the curved top of the associated washer.
(2) Side-hinged door instead of bottom-hinged - certainly not a deal-breaker, but bottom-hinged doors just make more sense for transferring laundry in and out of the machine. Side-note, the door is reversible so can be set to open in either direction by swapping the hinges and latch.
(3) The description on the Best Buy site, under features, says no moisture sensor, but the machine does have a series of sensor-dry cycles. Not really sure what the difference is there, but frankly, the sensor-dry cycles on this machine aren't that great. After using them, the laundry is still quite damp, so the manual-dry cycles are the only ones we use. Kind of a bummer because a machine that senses dryness properly would be more efficient.
Still gets a thumbs up overall.

LG High-Efficiency Washer: Toss clothes in the wash, select 1 of 8 cycles and 5 temperature settings via touch-screen controls and make fast work of laundry. Use the delicates cycle to wash sensitive items and the quick-wash cycle when you're short on time.

Great so far, but with some design flaws

Not quite 2 months in and everything is working fine. Running properly, cleaning clothes properly. Quiet as described. Cycles are long because of the nature of HE washers (spends a while sensing the load balance and auto-balancing).
Design flaws:
(1) NFC interaction for custom cycles is nice if you have a NFC phone or tablet, but they're still not too common - would've been better to add Bluetooth interaction, which most phones and tablets do have.
(2) Instructions state the machine should be leveled, but the top of the machine is curved, so you need a level that is at least 2.5' long because the lid needs to be up and the level run across the rim of the machine. Maybe not really a design "flaw" but maybe something the instructions could be better at specifying.
(3) HE machines are typically deep, and this one definitely is deep, so if you're even average height, when you lean in to remove laundry, you're going to press against the buttons that are located on the front of the machine. If you're short, you're going to need a step-stool to reach in, and expect to press against the buttons every time.
Still gets a thumbs-up, though.

Bought just for Elite Dangerous on PS4, haven't tried it with anything else. Works great for that game, controls are perfectly functional. Stick and throttle bases can separate using included hex key for wider placement. Main USB cord is long so you're not too restricted there. Build quality is good and feels fine in-hand. Not at the quality of a $300 HOTAS, but well beyond what you might expect from a $60 setup.
