I can follow instruction. The instructions accompanying this were known to be deficient (according to previous very helpful reviews), so I prepared myself by finding instructions to make this work with my iMac and Windows PCs. I followed instructions and still don't know if it is working. I'm able to save, but obviously I need more help (or confidence?) to proceed. I will be calling customer support. As of right now, I would probably not recommend to someone with a Mac, but that may change following a call to customer support.

I recently purchased a Lenovo 910 2 in 1 laptop without a dvd drive. Since I rarely use dvds/cds I wasn't concerned about not having one. However, a family member recently converted old 8 mm movies to dvd and I wanted to view on my new laptop! The Best Buy salesperson helped me pick this one out. The Best Buy salesperson recommended this when I asked for help extending my Lenovo - Yoga 910 2-in-1 laptop's USB ports. The laptop doesn't come with a dvd drive, and I needed additional ports as well (1 for USB transceiver, 1 for iPad, 1 for iPhone). I do a lot of last minute travel for elderly family caregiving, and this is an easy unit to throw in my bag and go. I've been satisfied with Targus products in the past, and so far so good!

This was on sale, and Best Buy has a wonderful extended return policy for Elite and particularly Elite Plus members like me. We read the reviews and lowered our expectations accordingly. We were delighted with the performance of this unit! Taking the advice of others, a strong string was attached to the unit so that it could be retrieved if it got stuck or ran out of charge. There is one section of gutters that is dangerously high to clean. Effectively cleaning that section of gutter was worth the purchase price for the unit for us! It cleaned out what had been over a year of clogged leaves/debris in 2 passes, only getting stuck in the muck once. Instead of water pouring over the gutter, it now flows the way it is supposed to! We are heading into hurricane season in Coastal NC, and the timing of our purchase was perfect!

Very fast and on sale. I knew from using it at my parents' home on their Windows PC. I have a Mac, and it does sometimes lose network connection, which is frustrating, but I turn off for a while and start up and that seems to resolve the issue. I wish it had any dedicated graphics card. It is the one thing that stops me from buying this laptop. Does any other model comes with similar configuration with graphics card?
