Great little Tivo

I added a TV to an area where i did not have an antenna. To run the cable, I would have had to drill a hole through the exterior wall or run it behind the baseboard. I used the excuse of not wanting to get into that project to allow myself to upgrade to the Tivo Roamio which i needed to be able to use the Mini. I have enjoyed it so far.

This is my 3rd Tivo. Based on all the reviews, I expected to see more of a difference between my Premier and this one. The only thing that really made me switch was the ability to use the Mini and i added a TV to another room. Otherwise, my Premier would have been fine for me. I am OTA only so I dont have much choice for a DVR.

This is my 6th sonos product. I love the system and knew I would want a play:1 for the bathroom as soon as it was released. Sonos isn't the least expensive brand in this arena, but it provides good value for me. I think I would go for 2 play:1's over a play:3.

Does the price of the TiVo Mini include the lifetime service if purchased in store?
On TiVo's website, a TiVo Mini can be purchased for $149. Lifetime service plan is included in this price. If purchased from BestBuy store front, does the $149 price include the lifetime service?
I believe it does as it did for me. I think the inclusion of the lifetime service is a limited time promotion that I think I read will end in January.
