Handy thing to have around the house

I have a beagle who chews on stuff. I love her, but she is pretty darn indiscriminate: her toys, toilet paper rolls if she can get 'em, my son's Legos and action figures, and sometimes the dangley ends of power cords. This Insignia kit is handy: a power charging block, and a bunch of different charger interchangeable tips for many makes of laptops. I needed to replace a beagle-eaten charger, and this set had the proper tip (and several more besides), works just fine, stays cool, charges the laptop. Not remarkable, just quite good & useful.

Big, beautiful Chromebook

If you like Chromebooks and want a big, lovely screen this Acer is a good way to go. It is slated for Android apps, and with 4GB of RAM performs very well as an internet device. The real question is the size: this is a big old rascal. Not terribly heavy or unwieldy, just different from most Chromebooks, which trend to smaller, more portable devices. Build quality is solid plastic, no creaks, nice keyboard, great speakers. If you want a big honking Chromebook, this is your baby.

Good machine with a few quirks

I like this Asus machine quite a lot. The screen is lovely. The keyboard is sound; it would have been better if it was backlit. The M processor is perfectly fine for my uses -- word processing and web stuff, surfing, email, and movies looked & ran great. One annoyance, slight but real, was the consistent delay in the connection between the tablet and the keyboard upon waking. Depending on the price you can find one of these for (I found an open box at a very attractive price) this is a well made piece of kit, and possibly a very good value.

Experience lush, detailed audio with these Klipsch Reference R-15M bookshelf speakers that feature 5-1/4" copper-spun IMG woofers and 1" aluminum diaphragm-compression tweeters to create a dynamic soundscape.
Will these speakers work the same laying on their sides as standing vertical?
They should sound just fine in either orientation. These are very good speakers by the way, for a broad variety of music. Just enough bass, very true, clean sound, good imaging even at fairly low volume. They break in nicely over time, sounding better now (yeah, I know, kind of subjective) than when I bought them weeks ago.
