Why is this so important for DOCTOR WHO fans? It's the first meeting between River Song and THIS incarnation of the Doctor. That being said, this Christmas Special is a fun romp that adds new info to their relationship and that means new details to the Doctor's history. Great stuff!

Capaldi soars as the 12th Doctor

Peter Capaldi-fans either love him or hate him as the Doctor. Personally, I think he adds a nuance we haven't seen since the days of Jon Pertwee. It's a fun collection of work that shows just how far this legendary band has traveled in their career. A great idea that doesn't quite work

With many venues limiting the use of professional cameras, this seemed like the perfect solution. The only thing is that you need to remove any case you have on your phone and then it clips very precariously. With a manual zoom and focus knob, there is a great chance you will knock the lens off before you get your shot. Far as I can see, this is $15 down the drain.

I bought this album in 1977 solely on the Richard Corben cover art. It quickly became one of my favorites and part of my soundtrack that summer. Almost 40 years later, the disc remains a classic mix of Jim Steinman compositions and the musicianship of Meatloaf and the studio version of what became known as the Neverland Express. A true classic that sells almost 200,000 copies a year!
