I do hate breaking down and buying cartridges, but this one was cheap enough that I didn't feel so bad about it. I've never had issues with cartridges unless you let them sit a long time. But with the hp cartridges, I've had some expired for a year already and they have lasted another 8 months without going dry or clumping at all.
