Ok but not worth the money

I noticed the Go Pro Hero5 mic would pic up the sounds of me moving my hand on the handle. This was especially poor if i had the extension collapsed. The smooth plastic seems to make a lot of noice when touched that the camera picks up making the already poor audio even worse. The tripod in the bottom of the handle is a cool touch and attracted me to the handle in the first place.

Works pretty good

The mount works pretty good, I thought the older one I had for my Hero2 was easier to get the camera positioned how I wanted when mounting it on my car. With a little practice I got it to work, but it wasnt as easy as i would have wanted. You really have to think how your mounting it because of the little adjustment the arms have.

Very poor quality for what I expected

After owning a Hero 2 I was expecting there to be a big difference in the video quality of the new Hero 5. After reviewing the video I was very disappointed in the quality. It always appeared grainy no matter what settings I used (tried Pro mode, setting ISO manually to 400, shooting in brighter light etc.). I eventually returned it and spent a little more money on a Canon G7X Mark II. I am BLOWN AWAY at the quality of this camera. It is stunning and far beyond what I wanted. It was a way better investment than the Go Pro. Unless your shooting underwater, or on a car at 80mph I would check out the Canon for a little more money.
