I have a Netgear Wifi extender downstairs. I will be setting up this wireless router (X4S) upstairs. I wonder with the potential range of this new router, will i still need to use an extender already in place? Or not ?
I replaced my Actiontec wireless router which struggled to get from one end of my house to the other, this one goes way past where the other wireless reached. I guess it depends on the size of your house and how far upstairs you are away. You may want to try this before you get an extender. It was more than enough for me when it was a struggle before.
