I purchased a new washer for my new home and the salesperson at the store recommended these hoses for a number of reasons. He seemed to have been working with appliances longer than I've been alive, so his recommendation of steel hoses over rubber hoses was welcomed.
I didn't really know, nor care for, the difference between steel hoses and rubber hoses, but then I remembered how rubber hoses would need frequent replacement at other places I've washed my laundry. I have been washing frequently due to the number of my household and these hoses seem to be holding up well.

I had added a multitude of items to my cart as I was purchasing my PS4, a few games, and some accessories, and was not too crazy about the $65 price tag on a controller. This item came up as a recommended item and it was on sale for $50 at the time. I looked into it, and in essence, this was the same controller I was already purchasing but at a lower price. This was enough for me to buy this item rather than just the controller, but it also includes a free month of PlayStation Now.
Although I have not activated my free month, I have looked into the list of currently available games on PlayStation Now and it is something I am most definitely interested in. I am still fully absorbed by the games I have purchased thus far, so it may be a while before I activate my subscription.
This controller combo, especially when it's on sale, is a great deal. I would purchase this item again if and when it's time for a new controller.

Great Console, Great Game

This is my first gaming console since the original NES and original Game Boy. I had been a PC gamer since the late 90s, with some familiarity with console gaming from visiting friends and family, but never got into it enough to purchase my own.
This changed with the new Battlefront game and limited edition Star Wars PS4. The initial set-up was a bit time consuming, but it was an easy process.
Once I had the game installed and updated, it was a much different experience, in a good way. I have fallen in love with this console, the game, and will be expanding my game collection more quickly than I had anticipated.

Wacky Lego Fun, Great for the Family

My family and I played the demo and instantly decided to purchase the full game. Lego series action games are fun and challenging, and can be enjoyed by children of all ages, including my 33-year-old self.
My daughters, ages 6 and 4, can't get enough of the game. It follows the movie pretty well and adds a few elements that are not in the movie, but are welcome additions. Some levels are a little tough for my girls, and even for me, but we manage to find a way to pass them.
Saving your progress could be easier, though. If I'm not mistaken, completing a level automatically saves your progress and after reaching a checkpoint, you need to manually save at a kiosk. The last two times that I loaded the game after a kiosk/checkpoint save, I was brought back to the beginning of the level. Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't want this to happen every time.
Another drawback is after completing a level, you're brought back to a free play hub and need to find your way to the next level, which makes it a mini-level in itself. This is not so bad, but when young kids don't understand this concept, it can lead to repeating earlier levels in the form of inadvertently selecting free play.
All in all, it's a fun game and it has piqued our interest in other Lego action games.

I'm new to console gaming, so I wasn't excited about needing to purchase an additional subscription for multiplayer online gaming. I bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered this with my PS4 and I have no complaints.
$50 seemed a bit steep at the time of purchase, but with the free games and full game trials on top of the multiplayer access, it's not so bad. There are also some exclusive deals that come out on a regular basis that are really tempting.

Large Tub, Washes Clothes Well

This washing machine was on sale for close to half of the MSRP, which was a major deciding factor in purchasing it. My wife and I researched it prior to purchasing it, and the built-in washboard sink and water jet were also features that made us lean toward purchasing this particular machine. After my daughter had an accident and spilled some oatmeal on her shirt and pants, the washboard was extremely useful in pre-treating it prior to washing.
This was my first experience with an HE machine, so I didn't know it would take well over an hour to wash a load with an extra rinse. However, its large capacity can reduce my usual 2-3 loads to a single load, so it's not so bad. The tub is enormous and I have to stand on my tiptoes to reach the bottom of it to retrieve socks and other small items.
I also ran across a "Ub" error code that at first looked like "U6" and it was difficult to find a solution for it. It turns out that if the load is unbalanced (hence, "Ub"), you will need to level out your load so that it's relatively flat rather than having a large, awkward lump off to the side. After learning this, I never had that issue again.
Finally, the spin cycle dries the clothes rather well prior to throwing it into the dryer. I love this washing machine!

Though I've been a photo hobbyist for a few years, I am new to flash photography.
This is the first flash I have purchased for my DSLR camera. The main reasons why I purchased this flash are the wireless flash capability and TTL. The flash head can tilt and swivel to where you want it, at least regarding my expectations. The light that it fires can fill the frame pretty well, depending on where it's pointed and your subject's distance.
It's pretty much what you would expect, maybe more, from a low price flash. I had no trouble using this as a wireless flash that would fire in response to my camera's pop-up flash. There are two slave modes, manual mode, and TTL mode. It's taking me quite a bit of practice to master wireless flash, but S2 mode seems to be working best for me.
When using TTL mode, my camera (Canon 60d) recognizes that there is a flash mounted on it, but there seems to be some sort of miscommunication because when the camera is left in auto, P, or Av mode, the shutter speed does not adjust to take the flash into account. I have to manually set the shutter speed to 1/200 or 1/250 and change the flash to Manual mode to get a good picture.
This flash does not do High Speed Sync. The flash head does not zoom, so I'm not sure exactly where "TTL" comes into play, unless I don't know what I'm doing, which is entirely possible.
Aside from that, it's easy to use in full manual mode, whether mounted or wireless. I plan on getting another one or two once I really know what I'm doing when it comes to wireless flash photography.

I bought this soundbar to complement my new LG Blu Ray player and my LG TV that I've had for nearly four years. With all of the equipment being LG, all I do is turn on my Blu Ray player that then turns on the TV and turns on the soundbar - simple, yet awesome.
Before this soundbar, I only had the built-in TV speakers, which weren't bad, but definitely needed an upgrade to get the most of my TV. I opted for the soundbar because I didn't want to deal with surround sound speakers and cables, and I was impressed by the loudness and clarity of the sound. The subwoofer has some kick to it as well. I live in a modestly sized apartment and my neighbor is the apartment manager, so I have to be careful not to have everything turned up too much. The sound is concentrated well enough to not be heard too loudly outside, and even upstairs.
