They were less expensive than most of the other options, and definitely appear to be constructed better than the OEM Apple cables that seem to come apart over time near the lightning end of the cable. I bought 3 and have added another recently for my son's phone.

Excellent Screen Protection

I have owned Invisible Shield screen protectors for every iPhone I have owned along with a few for LCD screens on a couple of DSLRs. Most of them have been the flexible film type...either the standard model or the newer HD model. Then I bought my first Glass model for my iPhone 5S. This is by far the best screen protection that I have owned. It is actually a thin piece of tempered glass with adhesive on the back. I won't have another iPhone without one! It provides great screen protection and retains 100% of the clarity and crispness of the iPhone's Retina display.
Per the instructions, make sure you clean your screen well prior to install with the required screen wipe and apply in an area where you can be relatively dust free. I actually installed this one on my iPhone 6 and got it just slightly crooked. I was able to carefully start at one corner, lift it off and reapply without any issues.

Decent case, but they make a better one

I bought this case for my son to go with a new Garmin Nuvi 2557 LMT. The case is constructed nicely, but we found the fit a bit too tight which made the GPS difficult to remove. We returned it an opted for the other 5" Garmin case where the GPS slides in vertically as opposed to horizontally. This case may have stretched out a bit in time and become easier to use, but the other one works better in my opinion.

The Apple smart case is well made and fits exceptionally. It is sturdy and adds virtually no size or weight to the iPad Air. The fact that it is constructed of leather is great, but that and the Apple brand make it a bit pricey compared to other vinyl cases. I purchased a group of cases elsewhere for iPad Airs used by my company for about $15 each. At $65 less those cases are functional and look pretty nice. The test will be how long they hold up.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus and installed iOS 11.2. I didn't notice any faster charging. Does feature need to be enabled? Also, my light stays Blue and never goes Green, from what I read it should change when charged? Is that only Samsung devices?
It should charge at 7.5W after the update. The light will not turn green when charging Apple phones, but does a great job on my X.

The Glass is not very thick so I would think that it would work with the Defender series case, but obviously if you don't remove the built in plastic screen protector from the Otterbox, you will have 2 layers of protection on the screen. I don't know how that would affect the operation of the touch screen.
I had an Otterbox Defender on an iPhone 4 a few years ago, and the plastic screen protector got a few scratches that I couldn't clean off. I took the plastic piece out of the Otterbox, applied an Invisible Shield protector to the phone, and put the Otterbox back on. It worked great. I don't know why you couldn't do the same with the Glass model. In fact, most of the Defender cases that we have owned for our iPhones have left a slight unremovable ring on the front screen of the phone where the cutout is for the speaker and camera at the top. Using the Invisible Shield under the Otterbox would actually protect against that.
