low cost tripod, flimsy, but worked for me

I bought this tripod to mount my binoculars in order to create a projection viewer of the Great American Eclipse. It was inexpensive, but it worked fine for carrying the 10 pound 10x50 binocs I had. Not the smoothest motion of the swivel arm, but it worked. Worth it for the money and my limited use. But if you are planning to use regularly, for SLR camera with a big lens, or are looking for something to last or be feature rich, you are better off spending more and getting something better.

Cutting the Windstream cord

After getting much faster internet from Spectrum, I finally cut the cord from horrible Windstream (overcharge, bad service, and low speeds). Wife wants a home phone , so this seemed the best alternative, plus the expandability for other services, which I can't wait to try. Took a long time to port the number, but works fine, with good voice quality domestically. Yet to test quality for international calls.

I bought these to paid with the samsung soundbar I purchased in order to get more immersive sound. They work, and I like the small size to not be too obtrusive in my living room layout, but the tradeoff is lower volume output. I got a good deal on them, so in the end I kept them. IF you are an audiophile, then go with something bigger for the rear channel.

Great basic soundbar

The speakers on the samsung KS8000 TV are lackluster. I am not an audiophile, but wanted something that felt immersive with surround sound. This sound bar paired well, and in addition I bought the wireless rear speakers to go with it. Works great at a good price, just need to find a good test website on youtube to make sure you are getting the sound you want from all the channels. Now easier to hear the TV from the Kitchen and breakfast area in the next room.
