The album is really good music, meaning real instruments, singing, horns, guitars, etc. Some tracks are covers, but mostly new songs written by Steven and others. Of course you can hear the Boss influences, too. Go buy it and enjoy!

Almost as good as Live & Dangerous

In my opinion, this is not quite as good as Live & Dangerous. To me, John Sykes is just not Thin Lizzy, as he's too '80s with the wammy bar and finger tapping. That aside, most of the tunes in the setlist are cool, but all don't have the classic Lizzy feel.

I don't have much DP, except a greatest hits compilation. However, this new album is a terrific offering with a classic sound. Hard to tell that DP has been cranking out stuff since the 70s.
