Good sound quality. Purchased it to record a presentation I was giving. I frequently took a few steps away from the recorder during the presentation, but this never affected sound quality. Figured out the interface without reading the instructions. Sound editing software on the recorder was exactly what I needed. It was easy to cut and combine segments of the recording. USB connectivity as advertised. Simply plugged the recorder into USB port on my laptop to copy the MP3 recording onto my hard drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!
