Are the pinouts wired as Null Modem?
No you will need a crossover cable as well.

will this work with an older windows 98 secong gen computer
I have a hunter alignment rack and laser aligner which uses a sony computer tower and we need to put a wireless adapter on to be able to download new drivers and use a newer printer. Or just send to other printer at another station. will one of your adapters work. this one states that its backwards compatible with 802 etc.

Does it come with Windows 8 or 8.1 installed?
The specs say it comes with Win 8.1, but reading several reviews, it sounds like it comes with Win 8 and you have to install 8.1 yourself. Can someone please verify which version of Windows it comes with?
