I have a HP with a HDMI input an can switch inputs on the same monitor. I gives me the opportunity to use my work laptop on the larger screen seamlessly. I drop the dongle for the wireless keyboard and mouse from my main PC to the docking station and works seamlessly!

This made the installation of a second subwoofer for my home theater sooo much easier. I am not using it for audiophile sound so I did not assess to closely. I adjusted my speaker distance on the receiver to compensate the delay. it is great for home theater.

Does this docking station charge the laptop?
Does plugging a laptop into this docking station via USB 3.0 also charge the laptop battery?

Zone 2 with no sub out?
How can I connect this unit to my Yamaha RX-V1400 zone 2 that has no sub or line level out? Only L/R Speaker level out?
the transmitter has R/L line in (in addition to the sub). On the sub side (receiver) use the low pass filter (crossover adjustment) to match your speakers. If you do not have extra L/R outs purchase good quality splitters (2) for each L and R on the receiver. It will work!
