Very nice stainless steel hookup line. Six feet in length, long enought for almost any situtation. Even comes with a union and teflon tape. I did not use the tape and still got a watertight seal.

The kit comes complete with everything you need to hook up a gas kitchen appliance except a regulator. If required the regulator usually comes with the appliance. The fittings supplied do not require either Teflon tape or paste as they are belled.

This is a beautiful unit. Be careful and layout the underneath area to take into consideration the regulator and all fittings needed for the cleanest most functional layout. We had a bit of trouble getting the top drawer to fit. We are having a bit of trouble with the center burner staying on at any setting below 4. The red LED under the control knobs is very useful in indicating that it is turned on.

DW80K7050UG Bottom in front of kickplate rubber shield falls down. I have looked at photos online & do not see this rubber flap. Is this suppose to fit behind kickplate? It is unsightly and very wrinkled. I tuck it in & it falls. What is it's use?
The rubber shield is supposed to be installed behind the metal kickplate. On my unit it does not either interfere or come out of place. The purpose of this shield is to reduce the sound of the dishwasher operating even further. I have to look at the operating lights to check that it is on and working.
