Then aside from this one the other versions were just too much for me price wise for something I wouldn't know if she'd really use. Originally purchased the Apple TV 3 and then saw this was on sale for $125 so I exchanged the 3 and it was definitely worth it. The actual interface for all the apps (especially Netflix) is so much more fluid and overall better. Mirroring my iPhone is smooth and has worked perfect so far. Overall a great purchase, but if you are not involved heavily into the Apple ecosystem I'd recommend the Nvidia Shield as it is $200 (look for a remote bundle) but offers much more. I use the Shield for my entertainment center and then this Apple TV for the bedroom, but you can't go wrong with either one.

Purchased this and was hoping to get something to replace my black apple leather case that I`ve been using for over a year and I guess I just got too used to that case because this case seems to "open" for me as the top and bottoms are both exposed along with the sides where the buttons are located. Like the look overall, but protection is not there at all and just feels awkward in my hands.

Would not install initial update

After debating switching from a PS4 to an Xbox One for awhile in order to play online with my friends I finally purchased an Xbox One during the Summer sale. When I first hooked it up though it would not install the initial update and kept freezing around 78% and the system would not function without this update. I attempted to reset the console in every way possible and then contacted Microsoft support and they had me do an offline update that did not work as well and advised I return the console. Thumbs up to BestBuy customer service though as they gave me a full refund and I opted to purchase the Nvidia Shield Android TV while it was on sale and that has been a great purchase that has gave me my gaming fix while also being extremely fast using Netflix and similar applications.
