I can see why most of every review almost is giving this tv a 5 star review cause it is worth it i just had it installed by best buy today and it is like my title says best tv ever dolby vision sound is great still testing things out on it the cable from charter looks great on it the 4k movies are unreal cant believe how aweome 4k and 1080p blu-rays look like even the streaming ones and the video games are awesome to oled is truly better then led no disrespect to people that like led and i can use my wireless bose headsets which my last tv couldnt do i can use them for watching cable my blu-ray player anything i have hooked up to it cause it has bluetooth built in my last tv did also but couldnt recognize device like this one can best purchase ever.

Im looking for ward to this system i know people are complaining about this not having a 4k player built in not a big deal for me i have the samsung one this is worth getting like people said for people mostly that have 4k hdr tvs i have the lg uh8500 55 inch one and i cant wait to play games at a higher resolution thats 4k or very close i mostly recommend this for 4k owners but it still wont be bad for regular owners either cause of the hdr 4k factor for 4k owners and hdr for regular owners to help with the color and enhances a little bit but with 4k hdr tv owners it will look awesome i do have the launch ps4 and this will go right next to it and both will be hooked up and i did pre-order this the same day they announced it.

i like everything about this tv playing 4k ultra hd movies look way better on a hdr tv like this then a regular non-hdr 4k tv and dolby vision wont be addd on till april 7th from my understanding but i like everthing about this tv im using sports mode for picture mode for my cable and when you watch 4k ultra hd blu-ray movies in the new samsung 4k player it switches to a hdr standard, bright, or vivid, picture mode i like the vivid one the most blu-rays look great to but what a difference a hdr tv makes compared to a non hdr 4k tv cant wait till dolby vision comes out in the next update next week.

this game is pretty realistic if people are debating between this or live again this year stick with 2k the graphics the courts now the face scanning which is awesome this game takes it to another level the face scan works well if u do it the way the instructions tell you but gameplay feels more real and the players model looks even better but i just recommend this game for a basketball game.

this is my favorite tv show thats on now enjoyed the first season alot season 2 tops season 1 cant wait for season 3 in october i did pre-order the blu-ray set of season 2 cant wait to get it next week just got agents of shield arrow is better but i bought both on blu-ray cant wait till the flahs comes on crossing over this this show but anyone a fan of arrow must buy season 2.

great 4k upscale blu-ray player 3d is really great on this player the we browser is point less i have a fast internet but noting loads that well on the browser that the only negative the upscaling is nice im hoping this player will play full 4k movies when there out cause when i play a blu-ray it goes to 2160p instead of 1080p which is pretty cool but im happy with it i dont recommend using the web browser though dvds look pretty good to those just say 1080p not 2160p 3d looks great ive been using my ps3 or ps4 for 3d lately but since i got this player im getting less ghosting and the 3d really pops out excellent but i do recommend this player to anyone if there looking for a player oh by the way it has two 2.0 hdmi ports also.

the regular dvds dont look to great upscaling but i havent tried it long enough blu-rays look incredible havent tried 3d yet i recommend this tv to anyone to buy awesome picture and i really like the sound on it to

I purchased a 40' Sony 3D LED TV a few months ago and was looking to replace my older Sony BDP-S550 player and stop using my PS3 as a 3D Blu-ray player. I also have a 2 year old Sony HD Receiver that supports all HD audio that I was looking to upgrade as well to a 3D Receiver. That was until I found out about and bought the Sony BDP-S790 player on 5/17/12 at my local Best Buy.
I like the cosmetic design and thinness of this player, nice illuminated play, stop, and eject Touch Buttons on top of the player. Easy to setup, XMB bar is same as PS3. Bravia Sync turns on and off my TV, Receiver and BD player together. One downside here, there is no Time button on the remote control and you can not elapsed time on front panel display.
It has DUAL HDMI outputs. AV Separation Mode separates HDMI 1 output for TV, HDMI 2 output for Receiver. Should have been that way since the 1st Blu-ray players were introduced, keep HD video and audio separate. I kept my old Sony Receiver and the HD audio support from this player makes Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master audio just straight out awesome!!
This player loads BD discs much faster than my older BDP-S550 and the PS3. The Picture Quality is phenomenal. You can also adjust and tweak the picture quality even more in Picture Quality mode. I am using Theater Room mode now.
I watched these Blu-ray movies. Transfomers: Dark of the Moon, and Underworld: Awakening in 3D. Great 3D detailed pop out in your face images. Saw Star Wars Episode 2 and 5, Avatar, and Lord of the Rings EE The Two Towers in 2D and just said Wow!! Watched The Bourne Idenity on DVD and the 1080p upconversion looked great.
I recommend the Sony BDP-S790 player to anyone looking to get a new Blu-ray player for 2D or 3D. The price $249.99 might turn some people away from buying this player. But for me, the ability to tweak and adjust picture quality like your TV video settings and having Dual HDMI outs is worth buying especially if you have a non 3D Receiver.

1080p? Yeah right all I can say is I'm glad I preordered xbox one also because this ps4 system sucks! I was a die hard PS fan until now very disappointed. Do yourself a favor and wait.

GM mode is terrible the Xbox and PS3 console was the way 2k was meant to be play I love the graphics the game looks amazing my opinion they weren't ready for the PS4, don't believe me just try both console versions you'll agree.

Serving as a sequel to The Amazing Spider-man, this open world game has Spider-man dealing with giant robots as well as mutated animals and later a potential epidemic. While the game is mildly fun, it can be quite dull at times and some of the missions feel like a chore.

Has performed as a fast DVD player. Compliments nicely my 55" Seiki 4k TV set . The Lawrence of Arabia blue ray is stunning . The Samsung apps allow upscaling of content to 4k from Netflix , Amazon Prime and Vimeo .

im planning on getting this 4k blu-ray player when i get my new 4k tv this year which will be samsung i will be getting it sometime this year but my question is any blu-ray movie that is just regular blu-ray will that really look that big of a difference near 4k quality like i have over 400 blu-rays i hope they all do upscale to near 4k and do regular dvds look like there in hd on a 4k tv would u or anyone else know?

Had the TV for about 2 weeks now and love it! The picture upscaling for 1080 is terrific. I am very impressed. In fact I almost forgot it was made for 4K. Finally streamed UHD on Netflix and its beautiful. I look forward to more 4K content and the upcoming HDR. Streamed Airplay from an iMAC Retina and the colors were almost exact. And Apple TV looks incredible on here! Don't get me wrong, I would have preferred OLED, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money. I did a lot of research and this ended up being the next best thing with 3D and HDR compatible features in my price range. I will admit, I noticed very slight light bleed at the top, but only because i was looking for it. Setting LED Dimming on high seemed to take care of it. We have this hooked up to a pioneer SC-91, which has the HDMI HDCP 2.2 compatible connections. Tried the 3D with the included passive glasses and it's superb!

i cant seem to get the 4k ultra hd blu-ray movies on the new samsung 4k player to play the 4k ultra hd movies in 2160p on this tv i have the 55 inch it plays hdr but only in 1080p and i do have a hdmi 2.0a cable hooked up to it to but only shows 1080p when only playing 4k ultra hd disc regular blu-ray shows 2160p are you having issues with this otherwise the tv is awesome with great picture quality the 4k movies still look in 4k.

I was exited to find out what sony had in mind, but after going online for more information that sony did not inform (or at least i didn't see). Was the fact that the ps4 pro cant handle native 4k at 60fps. I would love to have this unit but at a much lower price point by at least 150 buck off.

I have not bought a wrestling game in a long time. I purchased this one due to the listed roster being so large. Just a warning, a lot of characters needed unlocked. They start you with points so you can unlock a few from the beginning.
Graphics are amazing, intros are spot on. Vintage characters are cool. Most people are as realistic as you will get from a game, few look like wax figures.
I have not played online yet, but will soon
