I got this cable as a replacement for my charger at the house. It literally stays by my bed and tonight I went to plug it in and got the "accessory not compatible" error. Now, I'm a single guy, no one else to use my phone charger and I think that I'm advanced enough in my adult life to use a data cable. So anyways...I look around and the tip is a bit off center...I go to plug the phone in again and the tip of the cable literally breaks off into my phone. Now, it could have been just a faulty end cause the materials seem sturdy enough to handle plugging and unplugging but I'm not a data cable materials expert. I'd give this another shot but if #2 screws up..I'm moving on.
