Sand and Snow Doesn't Drift

I will start off saying that no album is perfect. There are very few albums I would give a 5 star review to and that goes for bands that have been making amazing music for 30 years. I also have to leave room for the day when this band writes and album that throws me down and makes me cry in submission.
This most important thing about any music you spend time on is that it must be good. That may be a relative term, but there are a few criteria we all agree on. We require good mental and musical imagery. We require a level of intricacy or at least solid proficiency. We require our music to have a beating heart. This band is serious about their music and they're serious about their fans. It is no accident that Reaching the Potential is the lead song on this album. Indeed, they ask you the question. My answer is yes.
Highlights and must hears on the album are Anastasia, Harbour Lights, Let Them Feel Your Heartbeat and Danny, Dakota and the Wishing Well.
Rustle of Stars is an amazing shining moment so outside of the sound you might expect from this band. If they teach us anything about being fans is to NEVER expect a certain sound.
What's great about it: Tight songwriting
What's not so great: They're not playing in my living room.
I would recommend this to a friend!
