I have this nasty habit of randomly purchasing CDs without listening to ANY of the music beforehand. Granted, I did listen to Bullet For My Valentine's older releases, I wasn't one of the many that rushed to download their pre-released tracks. So, when the date came around, I bought the CD, ripped open the case, and jammed it into my car radio. Instantly, I was blown away with greatness.
If you're a BFMV fan, especially of their older stuff ('The Poison'/'Hand of Blood'), then you'll absolutely love this. They went back to their old, rock/metal sound without the forced overkill that 'Scream, Aim, Fire' gave us. The music, the lyrics, the vocals--everything has kept me in love with the album and I will proudly say that I've been addicted to it all month. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who asks my opinion of it or the band. After the last album, Bullet has definitely redeemed themselves.
What's great about it: The music, the lyrics, the everything!
What's not so great: Album cover's a bit... random.
