If you thought the original Evo 4g was a great phone wait till you get your hands on this one. I picked up my phone from Best Buy, by the way BB pre orders came in faster than most Sprint store orders, and it has that WOW factor. A total upgrade from head to toe and you see it and feel it as soon as you power it up. I'm still in the process of setting up the phone and learning the new features of the phone but for day one, WOW.
It may be too early to find the flaws and other reviews may have more info, this is just my out of the box first impression.

What's great about it: It's not an apple
What's not so great: No LTE market yet.

Holds the gps unit in place

Nice product, you can just slide the bracket into the bag and lock it in place.
I first purchased on cheaper one but after my Gps fell off when the
suction cup would let go and the unit crashed to the floor. This one locks into the holder and stays in place and no dreaded ring on the windshield that tell the world and every thief you have a gps in the car.

Works, but not that great

The biggest problem I have with this holder is it uses the suction cup on the bracket to hold it on, and we all know that sometimes the suction cup comes loose. This happened to me not only did it come loose from the holder it was during a turn so across the dash and down to the floor went the gps unit, For $20 buck more buy one that locks into the mat, and save a couple hundred buck when you gps is locked into the holder and not crashing on your floor.
What's great about it: It holds the gps on the dash (for awhile)

I can not so no for every model GPS there may be some higher end unit that may, but for the most part the answer is no, GPS unit are only signal receivers, the unit receives the signal but it will not transmit you location like on star.

Does Germin have a unit that you talk to instead of touch
The nuvi 3790t and nuvi 855 have speech recognition, I have not used either one myself.
