Since we wanted a French door refrigerator, needed a counter-depth model, and had other Whirlpool appliances, this model was the only choice we had. It was very difficult to obtain it, and it took months to arrive, since it needed to be ordered from Whirlpool. Counter-depth models are much more expensive than the bigger ones, paradoxically.
In terms of the quality, we have been pleased - everything works well; the water filter makes our water taste good, and the fridge keeps everything cold. The French doors are worth it, since we have more room to store food than in a side-by-side model. The right door has multiple shelves that hold a lot; the left door is mostly taken up by the icemaker. The freezer has a deep compartment and two smaller shelves that slide back and forth and easily hold several 1-gallon ice cream containers. My only complaints are that it is only about 20 cubic feet, but that is a compromise for the counter-depth, and that it is more expensive than the much larger model.
What's great about it: Quality construction, French doors, works well
What's not so great: Smaller than regular-sized refrigerators but for much more money.
