display looks amazing but it needs to be at 90%

This is the first OLED laptop I have used and I must say it looks amazing and bright. The colors really pop but it must be at 90% or higher in brightness or its difficult to see images. I usually set my screens at 60% but with this laptop its too dark and the images are not visible and looks dark, you must really set the brightness level very high to get a usable display. This is fine in a bright room, but if its dark the screen is just too bright to be comfortable on the eyes. Its thin, super thin, just a bit thicker then an ipad. I have never seen a laptop so thin before. Its also very light at just over 2 lbs, it weighs less then my 13" ultrabook. If you want an ultra portable laptop that has good speed this maybe the one for you.
Good specs on this machine with a fast i7, 16GB DDR5 and 1TB m.2, I was able to upgrade and add a second 2TB m.2 and it was running at the full rated speed. The ram is not upgradeable so make sure that you get the spec you want. The keyboard is easy to type on, but I have to get used to the key layout. The touchpad is terrific, its smooth and responsive but it is not centered with the space key so its a bit uncomfortable to use.
Overall a good laptop but there are some shortcomings. There 3 USB-C ports but no USB-A, this is really inconvenient and I had to buy an adapter to use my old devices and flash drives. Display needs to be on brightest level to see images clearly or they will be too dark and just look black. Boot time is horrendous, it takes about a 90 seconds to boot up, the BIOS screen (pre windows screen) stays on for over a minute alone. Super slow booting. Even when shut down they battery drains down fast, I lost about 15% in just two days with it not even being turned on once. I turned off the USB charging ports and it still drains while off. Runtime is not as good as I expected, won't last a whole day, maybe about 5 hours

oh my, I can't begin to explain how fast this printer is. It just blows away an inkjet. Quiet and smooth the pages just rip right out. Print quality is terrific, super sharp even the tiniest of letters comes out crisp and legible. As far as color its good, but not as accurate as an inkjet so photo printing is not its forte. The warm up time is fast I don't have to wait very long for the first print to come out. Even with wifi connection it is quick. I printed from my PC, laptop, ipad, iphone all no issues. What I will really appreciate is that I won't have to worry about ink cartridges drying out after a few months. I don't print often maybe once a month or so and am so tired of spending $75 because my ink dried out. With this laser printer it will no longer be an issue.
The scanner works with crisp images and a big surprise is that the document feeder actually works! I have had so many printers in the past that would jam or pull multiple sheets at a time but this one just works. It quickly feeds a sheet at a time with no missing pages or jams.
One big issue I had while setting it up was that the install program asked me for a printer PIN number. For the life of me I could not find it, looked all around, the back, bottom under the scanner, paper tray, doc feeder no where to be found. I looked on the HP site and it said the PIN was on the printer cartridge, you have to open up the front by pressing a side button to change the toner and there is a sticker there. Don't know why they had to hide it so well and not mention where it was in the instruction manual. Once I got the PIN installation was straight forward and all is well.

These are more secure in my ears then my old buds. Less prone to falling out. It does take a bit of fidgeting with to get a good fit, you need to insert and twist till the "wings" lock into your ear lobes, but once its in its pretty secure and won't fallout. I like that it doesn't hang down or stick out from your ears so there's less chance of it bumping into to snagging on something. You can use it lying down with a pillow and it stays in much better then my old ones. The touch buttons area is basically the end of the earbud so when you're touching it to adjust the fit it will constantly register your key presses which is annoying so I turned off the controls from the app. for comfort and overall fit I'd give it a 8 out of 10. Cool compact charging case with USB-C has a unique feature that it has UV sterilization to kill germs which is pretty cool.
Sound is pretty good but a bit on the bright side with the highs. If you can get a good deep fit into your ear the bass is strong and sounds really good. There are numerous sound settings in the app and you can customize to get the sound you like . The noise cancellation works ok, but not 100% effective some sounds still come through, there is no level to adjust noise cancellation. overall i'd give these a 8 out of 10.

This is a good all around versatile monitor which is also good for office use. Nice big crisp display that is bright with lots of setting options to get just the right picture you want. Its an IPS so viewing angles are terrific. One ding is that it is not a high resolution display it only goes upto 1920x1080 so for detailed work like photos or cad it may not be optimum. Set up was easy but it does require a phillips screwdriver for the base. The base is solid but it is relatively big as compared to others of this size. Inputs are limited to only HDMI and display port and it comes with cables which is a nice touch. Whats really awesome is that it is so flexible, the height is adjustable and you can rotate from landscape to portrait with tilt. Most monitor that can do this cost much more.
One thing I don't like is that it takes a power brick, I have noticed that other Samsungs also do this. This just makes installations a bit more messy as you have to find a place to hide it. I wish it could just be a direct plug into the AC outlet. For the price its a decent value and it looks good with the thin bezel.

a bunch of hits and misses

Got this for my Mitsubishi mini split. The installation was a bit tricky, I tried several times to connect Mitsubishi Electric since that is what is on my ac and it kept crashing the app. I finally tried just Mitsubishi and it went perfectly. On setup you need to connect to your wifi, but it won't automatically search for available networks, you need to manually type it in which is a pain. Other then these issues installation went smooth. The provided USB power cord was a bit short at around 6' so I had to purchase a longer one.
This remote adds a HUGE feature that was missing, the ability to schedule the ac like a regular thermostat. This is a feature I always wanted. I don't know if there is a limit to how many but I have several for each day and its working great. Each day of the week is individually programable. I have it set to turn off at night, on in the morning and have different temperatures depending on the time. Its been working well so far. You can manually overide from the control panel until your next setpoint then it will resume your programing. Its cool that you can look on your smart phone to see what the temperature and humidity is while you're away and can turn it on to get ready for your arrival at home. The major features of control are there: on/off, temperature, fan speed.
It is recommended that you only use this and put away the original remote since it may get out of sync but this does create some issues as some features are missing. You can't control the horizontal sweeping oscillation, the vertical has only two positions and no sweep. There is no turbo mode to quickly cool down. overall a pretty good thermostat I hope they can update some features

How Often Used:3-5 times a week
These are the most comfortable and secure headphones I have tried. The fit is excellent and they don't fall out even if you're moving around and active. It feels soft in my ears and I don't get any discomfort with use. love it. the shape of the earbuds are kind of odd in that it can fit in your ears in any direction, but to get the best sound and comfort you really need to put it in correctly. I have found I need to look at the Jabra word and align it up so it reads correctly and then insert into my ear and twist it a bit to get a good fit. Its not something you can just blindly grab and put on or it will be upside down and sound terrible and fall out.
The sound quality is very good and better then a higher priced pair I previously used. it has deep base and clear vocals, exceptional quality that I enjoy listening to music. For a mid priced set I am pleased. For me it seals well in my ears so the noise cancelling feature does work and blocks out the distracting background sounds, using to take a nap I can get better rest since outside noises don't bother me as much.
one feature I really like is the physical button, you can feel a positive click so you know you're doing something. I have the touch buttons, you never know if you are actually pressing or can accidentally press with just a brush of it.
Nice compact case charges easily and uses USB C.....yay!

This antenna is really cool looking, it looks like a bluetooth speaker and much better then those flat panel square antennas that take up a lot of wall space. It seems to work just as well as the other antennas but you can place this on a counter or bookshelf and it just looks like some other modern tech product. Its also easy to just move around to get the best reception. What's neat is that it has 3 led bars which are signal strength indicators to help you point it in the right direction for best reception. Good compact antenna if you decent signals. It does not seem to pick up weak/distant ones for me though.

What really stands out about this cordless vacuum is that it comes with removable batteries and it comes with 2! That is so awesome, you will never have to worry about not having enough juice. The charging stand will charge the battery in the vacuum and the extra one at the same time which is really nice. Very easy and intuitive to use. The accessories fit together super easy. The extension tube can be extended to 3 different positions which makes it comfortable to use. The trash bin is on the small side but is the most easy to empty that I have come across, it has a wiper that cleans the inside of the bin so you don't have to stick your hands in there or take it apart to clean it out. The brush head works on both carpet and hard floors and is easy to maneuver.
A unique attachment is the mop head, I recommend first vacuuming with the brush to pick up all the dirt and then use the wet mop head to give your hard floors a good cleaning. It glides across the floor effortlessly and will give you a nicely cleaned surface but don't expect it to get out stuck on stains, you will still need to get on your hands and knees to scrub them well as it is not an abrasive cleaner. It will get all remaining light dust and dirt that the vacuum misses.
I like it, my new favorite vacuum. Since its cordless, you can take it anywhere and with the two batteries you don't have to worry about dead batteries anymore.

The simplicity of the design is what makes this filter so easy to use. Just a single button on the top to press and cycle thru the settings with indicator lights to let you know what function it is in. The lights form a ring and depending on what is lit will let you know what speed is set. Unfortunately there is no markings to tell you and you need to refer to the manual to know. I'm sure after a couple of months go by I will forget and have to refer back, I wish they would put some printing on the lights to indicate what they are. the side has an air quality monitor indicator that will glow blue (clean), amber (moderate) and red (dirty) to let you know the condition of your air.
The unit is surprisingly light for the size, it feels like just an empty shell. The bottom section is just a plastic frame with a circular HEPA filter the filter totally encompasses the bottom to pull in air from all directions. Its a 3 stage filter with a washable cloth pre-filter, pleated HEPA filter and a charcoal impregnated foam filter. The top section has the fan and output that vents the air straight up. Since the air points straight up it does not create a draft like a fan would so you don't feel a blowing sensation like a side discharge would. In the low setting this is virtually silent and will not disturb anyone, the medium setting you can hear the fan running and at night this might disturb some but I like it as a background white noise. The boost setting is ridiculously loud and bothersome, sounds like my kitchen stove exhaust fan. The auto function seems to work well and will throttle the speed depending on the condition of the air. I think I'll jet leave it on low and let it do its thing at a whisper quiet level.
For an air filter this is not too bad to operate continually as far as operating costs. replacement filters are $40 and should last 6 months according to the manufacture and since the pre-filter is washable hopefully I can extend this if washed often. The power draw is 3 to 35 watts, which is pretty low. For my location (35 cent / KWh) that works out from 76 cents to $8.82 a month. The low setting is less then the cost to charge my phone..lol.

incredible speeds

I replaced my M.2 SSD in my LG Gram with the new 980 Pro, super simple to install and no problems installing a fresh install of windows 10. The original laptop came with a SSD but this is on a whole nother level. I did a drive test before and after and the 980 is the real deal....incredible speeds out of this thing. I'm getting 3218 MB/s read and 3311 MB/s write....holycow. my laptop does seem a little snappier and boots quicker but its not mindblowing like going from a HDD to a SSD. If you're going to get a SSD I would highly recommend this one, the performance is like no other.

it is a cordless vacuum. you need to plug in the charging base to the wall outlet and store the vacuum on the base for it to charge. when you're using the vacuum it is not plugged in.

Are the rechargeable batteries removable?
no, they are built in and not replaceable. It charges really fast, I think a 15min charge will give you a few hours of use. but you can also use it while charging from USB-C so no downtime from work.
