Best microwave ever

We just recently replaced all of our kitchen appliances with a set of Whirlpool Gold. We could not be happier with these appliances. They look good, perform well, and were priced below what I was expecting.
The microwave appears much larger than normal; because the controls are in the door, the door is basically the full size of the microwave! Plus it acts as a convection oven (although we haven't tried that feature yet).
The microwave is surprisingly quiet when running, and the chimes are more pleasant than any other microwave we've heard. Controls are very intuitive and it's easy to do whatever we want at the time. This is the best microwave we've ever owned.
Install was quick and professional. Very pleased with the entire purchase experience.

Prepare meals for holidays and other family gatherings with this Whirlpool WGE555S0BS double oven electric range that features a 5-element cooktop, 2.5 cu. ft. upper oven and 4.2 cu. ft. lower oven, so you can cook a variety of dishes simultaneously.

Exactly what we wanted

My wife has been itching for a double oven, so when we decided to buy new appliances, that's what we looked for. After much comparison shopping we eventually decided on Whirlpool and we're glad we did. This range is exactly what we were looking for. It looks good, performs well, easy controls, and has all the bells/whistles that we want. Many compliments on our set of Whirlpool Gold appliances. BTW, we almost always use the small top oven. Energy efficient and very convenient.
Install process went smoothly. Very happy with our entire purchase experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very happy with our new refrigerator

My wife wanted door-in-door, I wanted the middle drawer. LG had a nice fridge with DiD that my wife liked, but price made me lean towards the Whirlpool and we eventually bought all Whirlpool appliances. Glad we did, we're thrilled with the entire set. The fridge looks good and performs well. Plenty of room for us, both fridge and freezer. Icemaker makes smaller cubes than we're used (a plus) and dispenses water and ice faster (also a plus). The display only lights up when you perform a function. It looks good lit up, but I like that it remains unobtrusive most of the time. The middle drawer is wonderful to have for high use items. It's mostly quiet, even when dispensing ice.
Installers did a great job.
Very happy with the entire experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful dishwasher

Pros: Smartly laid out interior. Cleans well. Easy to load/unload. Good looking exterior. VERY QUIET when running. Good price.
Cons: display hard to see under the lip of my counter (minor issue).

My wife and I are thrilled with this dishwasher, and all of our Whirlpool appliances. It looks good, and quietly does it's job very well. Have had numerous compliments on our new appliances. People are surprised when we tell them it's all Whirlpool. Anyway, love this dishwasher and all our new appliances.
The installers did an excellent job of uninstalling, installing, and hauling away. Professional, fast, showed up right on time, and took good care of the new appliances, old appliances, and my house.
Very pleased with every aspect of this purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do you have to have a vent to hook it up to? Does the brackets come with it?
No vent required (self venting), and all mounting hardware required came with my unit.

are the large burners on the left supposed to go off and on when set on high
Not sure what you mean. The burners have sensors built in and and will go on and off to maintain a specific temperature on your pan. Even if you have the burner set to max, eventually the pan should reach the desired temp and the burner will begin regulating.

Not sure what you mean. It appears to be standard stainless steel to me, both in material and color.

Does this refrigerator ever shut off?
I've had this refrigerator for two days now. It hardly ever shuts off. I've noticed three times in the past two days it will shut off. But it only shuts off for maybe 20 to 30 seconds and then it starts again. I've noticed different things happening. Sometimes I can tell that it's just the blower that is on. Then it makes a loud clunking noise for about 15 seconds and then it sounds like the compressor is starting. It's a beautiful refrigerator, but should something be running 24 hours a day? It's almost hard to believe that a refrigerator would be made that every once in a while would make such loud noises.

That doesn't sound right. I've had my unit for a month and it hardly ever makes a noise. The clunking sound COULD be ice dropping into the dispenser but even with that noise our fridge is mostly silent. Even when the fan is blowing it's not very loud, hardly noticeable.

what is the odd shaped container (rounded at one end, and slender at the other) intended for?
That shelf is designed to fit in the refrigerator door around the icemaker.

How much is installation, delivery, etc.
What is the full cost of this dishwasher, including delivery and installation, and removal of the old dishwasher?
That can be best answered by a Best Buy rep, but I can say that I paid $427.49 plus tax. Delivery was free, install was $140 (standard for all built-in dishwashers), haul away of old dishwasher was free.
