SynopsisDesign your next best friend in Build-A-Bear Workshop, where you can create, dress and care for a furry bear. Pick one of eight different bear characters, then choose its motto, stuff it, stitch it, fluff it, name it, dress it, insert its special heart and tell it a private secret. Next, you're off to your bear's special house, which you get to color yourself. Create a special bond that you can enjoy with your new pal every time you turn on your DS. The two of you will spend lots of time together as you play mini games and complete activities. Caring for your bear is the next stage of this fun simulated relationship. Make sure you satisfy your new friend's daily needs, such as physical affection, fun, food, learning, social skills and trendiness. Choose from more than 100 different clothing items and accessories to get ready for a full photo session. Visit six different areas, each with two to four unique activities, including food preparation, dancing education, playground, tooth brushing, shopping and more. Use the DS stylus to show your bear some love and speak into the DS microphone to whisper a heartfelt wish.

Great game for beginners

I got this for my 5 year old hoping it would be challenging enough for him and also easy enough at lower levels for my almost 3 year to have some fun. It has proven to be a great game for my 5 year old. When he does get frustrated with harder games this keeps his interest and does offer challenges with trying to manuever out of mazes, etc. My almost 3 year old can move the bears around and did create her own bear (with my help), but hasn't grasped the real concept yet. However I think this will be one of the games she starts with in the next year or so when my son will probably be growing out of it. Overall I think I made a good pick as far as value for my family.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mr. Krabs has left his most prized possession — the Krabby Patty formula — in SpongeBob's porous yellow hands. So when the recipe disappears, it's up to SpongeBob to track it down. Who does the trusting aquatic fry cook ask for help? Plankton, the little one-eyed villain who, as always, wants the recipe for himself. Using Plankton's memory machine, SpongeBob must sift through his happiest memories to remember where he put the recipe. Will he find the formula before the Krusty Krab's Eleventy Seventh anniversary?Relive the happiest times of SpongeBob's undersea life in SpongeBob's Truth or Square. As you help him search for the Krabby Patty recipe, you'll explore 10 fantastic levels of nautical nonsense. Amidst all the silliness you'll see familiar faces and scenes from SpongeBob's world, such as Bikini Bottom, the Krusty Krab and Jellyfish Fields. To take down gruesome oversized bosses, SpongeBob can transform himself into several wacky tools, such as a sledgehammer and a cannon. Make sure SpongeBob retrieves the recipe in time or there'll be no Krabby Patties for the anniversary celebration.

My 5 year old loves this game!

I bought the DS for a long road trip for my 5 year old. I decided to pick 3 games of different levels - this one I considered just right for his age. It has turned out to be his favorite. There is reading involved, so at times an adult has to help since he is just learning how to read. It has been a great challenge and also encourages him to learn how to read more. He especially likes when you have to blow into the DS to make the bubbles move up and when you get to shoot water at one of the bad guys and he wobbles back and forth!
What's great about it: Its just challenging enough to keep him interested without getting too frustrated
What's not so great: Make sure your child can read or at least has started reading
I would recommend this to a friend!
