Amazing movie for an amazing book
on June 3, 2014

I loved this movie in theaters and I can't wait to get it on Blu-ray. The acting was great, Marcus Luttrell even had a minor part in the movie, and it was very accurate, up until the last third of the movie. The last third was not exactly portrayed as it was in the book, but otherwise, it was very detailed. Great movie to show the brave men who died in Operation Red Wing. The movie was also shot very well and the action was incredibly intense. Sound design was amazing, and I highly recommend it on Blu-ray for anyone who has a nice home theater.
What's great about it: Acting, cinematography, accuracy
What's not so great: The last third of the movie didn't follow the book exactly
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great sound for an excellent price

I use these currently for my PlayStation 3 and they sound excellent considering their price (they were $15 when I got them over two years ago). I use them every single day and I can honestly say they look and sound great. Only problem is they don't sound as great a higher volume levels (for obvious reasons) and there isn't much bass (considering there isn't a subwoofer). I love Logitech and I plan on buying something with more substantial bass so I'm going for the Z323 system, but if you are looking for standard computer speakers, these work great.
What's great about it: Sound quality, price, appearance
What's not so great: Sound isn't as great at louder levels, limited bass
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing game for multiplayer fans

Although this game is several years old, the Ultimate Edition with all its features makes it feel like a brand new experience. The game its self is great. Multiplayer-wise; its chock-full of fun and plenty of hours spent. The campaign is short, but its the same characters from the last Bad Company we know and love. The Ultimate Edition adds in Battlefield 1943, Onslaught mode, and the VIP code (more maps and what-not). This game is worth 60$ to me, even at 3 years old. Solid game that I still play, can't wait for Battlefield: Bad Company 3!
What's great about it: Multiplayer, gameplay, graphics
What's not so great: Pretty much nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

CoD continues to slip

I've played my fair share of call of duties and each one promises more and more. To be honest, CoD doesn't need more on its exterior. What made CoD4 so great was its simplicity and gameplay. Black Ops 2 is better than Modern Warfare 3, but it still did not impress me. It promised revolutionary ideas, but the maps are bland, its more based on the best class than actual skill, and even the campaign was boring. People say the CoD campaigns are always good, but they get boring, too many explosions, a fuzzy story, and bland characters with hardly any real motives. Zombies is always fun, but I wouldn't recommend spending 60$ for just zombies, as even that starts to get repetitive. To sum it all up; multiplayer does almost nothing new, campaign promises a more open, player-drive experience, but doesn't deliver, and zombies can get a bit repetitive.
What's great about it: Zombies
What's not so great: Campaign, Multiplayer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not for amateurs!!

I went to Best Buy to get a new camera with the goal of getting good vacation photos and photos of my family. I wanted something simple and easy to use. They convinced me that this camera would do the job. I was concerned as there were a lot of features I didn't know how to use and I specifically asked if the manual that came with the camera would explain them. I was assured it would. Well, it doesn't even come close. I looked online for help and the manual online that gives all the details is over 250 pages. We tried to return the camera less than 3 weeks after we bought it. It was past the Best Buy 2 week window and they wouldn't take it back. (This was not pointed out when we made the purchase.) So I was stuck with it. Their advice was to set it on automatice and I would still get great pictures. I tried that. Just got back from a once in a lifetime overseas trip and have terrible pictures. The color is bad. Many pictures are totally washed out. Once in a lifetime moments and the pics are worthless. Hard to do panoramic photos compared to my old camera. I am so very disappointed and unhappy. A complete waste of money for me.

Auto mode does EVERYTHING for you, so if your pictures weren't coming out good, it was most likely your own fault.
