Tall and Silent

Needed a unit that sits on the desktop - not enough room behind the desk. The APC 1300VA is a handsome unit, whose size accommodates the number of outlets I needed - including a couple of "bricks". Have already had one power spike in my home - the power dropped for one second, then returned, and the unit worked as designed - keeping my iMac and external hard drives operating. The displays are useful and informative, and light up only on demand. And the unit is dead silent.
What's great about it: Attractive enough to sit on the desktop - yet small desktop footprint, comprehensive display information
What's not so great: Large depth limits desktop placement
I would recommend this to a friend!
