This is a good documentary of the Beatles' Touring Years produced by Ron Howard. Some of the material in the movie I have seen before but Ron Howard does a good job of putting it all together. The bonus disc has some interesting interviews and full-length song performances. The only complaint I have is that this product does not have the entire Shea Stadium concert shown at the end of the film that was released in the theater. This is one reason I bought the package thinking it would be included but it was not. Be forewarned.
This Pretenders CD leans toward the mellower side. It's not a rocker like some of the Pretenders earlier material. However, the song "Alone" at the beginning, and the song "Holy Commotion" at the end, are the two most upbeat tracks on the CD. Guitarists Duane Eddy and Dan Auerbach are featured on this CD.
This movie reminded me of Insidious 3, probably because James Wan was involved in making both movies. It provides its share of scares and the ending was hard to predict. Also, make sure you watch the Special Features section of the disc where there is a good alternative ending to the film.
