Really?

I can't believe Netflix suggested I watch that garbage. I pretty much understood the plot, but MAN what kind of drugs were these girls given in that assylum to have a double trip. I think all LCD user just died of envy. Anyway the movie seemed like a pathetic attempt to create an anime type movie for boys with a pretencious plot and some serious issues. Result - a confusing mulch of constant CGI with blatant use of women as se*x objects. Yes, both in the plot and in the movie. Come on, why whould a main character always be wearing a japanese sailor school unifrom??? I'm soo glad I didn't go to the movie theater.
What's great about it: CGI
What's not so great: Plot, acting, premise

This was a bad BAD movie. Being a fan of B-action movies for years I could only finish this one in two sittings. The storyline, which started like somewhat "Commando" like derailed into senseless mess. The only thing more annoying than the thickskulled main character is his prissy teen daughter. It's kind of bad when you wish that the damsel in distress be slapped silly to shut her trap. I so wish she whould get killed. Oh well...
Zero stars plus one for Gary Daniels who is an awesome martial artist and it's a shame to see him here after he starred opposite legends like Jackie Chan
What's great about it: Gary Daniels
What's not so great: Annoying daughter who deserved to die

Not a bad one

It isn't the greatest of Jolie's movies but it's a passable action flick with a decent plot, not too predictable, not to over the top ridiculous. If you liked Wanted you would probably enjoy this one too.

This release from the dark and mysterious anime series Corpse Princess offers episodes 14-26 of the series, following the story of Makina - a Shikabane Hime who acts as an assassin for the underworld. As Makina reaches closer to the 108 dead bodies she needs to rack up before she can retire, she discovers that she may have an even bigger job to finish, as an unholy apocalypse is threatening to destroy everything, even the spirit world.

Second part is here

Finally the second part is here. Now we can finish the story. Btw, all who didn't like the last episode - it was a specific DVD extra showing the flashback. It wasn't originally shown when the show was on TV in Japan.

A different then your regular fighting high school girls anime. Plenty of action but with a decent plot and drama. An awesome take on the whole zombie idea. Could wait for the second set to come out
What's not so great: Lack of extras

Fair Game, containing Cindy Crawford's first leading performance, comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that fails to reproduce the original theatrical aspect ratio. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles on this disc, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include production notes. This is an uninspired DVD release of an uninspired film, salvaged only by the inexpensive list price.

Nothing special

Nothing to say about this movie, because it is really nothing special. Some chases, carwrecks, shooting and explosions. Non-finished bed scene. All the components of a standard 80's action. The only plus is Cindy, being a fan of hers for all my teenage years I had to have this movie.
What's great about it: Cindy Crawford

Really strange...

A movie really tried to be Tarantino/Rodrigez style, by making fancy shots, soundtrack and hiring M.Madsen, D.Caradine, Vinnie Jones and D.Hopper. But even those mean actors didn't save this boring and predictable, strange movie. Violence over the top, nudity and gore. But there is no reason, serious plot or some kind of idea. Looks more like a documentary then a work of a director.

Robert Rodriguez's tribute to the sci-fi films of the '50s comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no subtitles accessible on this release. Supplemental features are limited to a theatrical trailer. This film failed to find much of an audience in theaters, and this disc will do little to entice the uninitiated. This is something of a shame if for no other reason than Rodriguez's commentary tracks are always informative and entertaining. His voice is missed on this release.

Nice teen flick

Accidentally watched the movie on TV and really enjoyed it. Teen movie about aliens taking school, but at the same time without ridiculous exagerations and plot twists. Later on found out that the movie is done by Rodrigez, not a surprise at all. Anyway, I think it's a easy, nice movie to watch with a really good young cast.

Richard Donner's big-screen adaptation of the low-key Western series Maverick comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials are limited to production notes. The film's easy charm comes through on the small screen just as easily as it did in theaters. Fans of the film will be satisfied with the picture and sound on this otherwise bare-bones release.

A great movie which combines western and a nice, witty comedy. Mel Gibson is great in his character, but Jodie Foster was even better. Unusual role for her, but she aced it no problem.

That was a horrible movie. No wonder it never hit the theaters. A plot that seemed sqeezed out of dried out lemon, with completely unrealistic moments. A top notch psychologist is played like a teenager, rinning around scared. And the last scene with the hanging girl is just physically unrealistic.

WASTE OF MONEY
By Nasobum9 from Phoenix,az
This game is a complete waste of money.. graphics might be good but single player is too short and lacks direction, multi-player is fun but lacks realism in real world conflicts.. MP-9 100 yd kill shots, not likely

Actually I was surprised myself when I learned that the effective range of MP-9 is 50-100 meters (100 yards = 91 meters)

As far as I remember Sony never goes down on its PS3 prices. Maximum that they usually do is add some last season game to it or may be a HDMI cable. I bought my PS3 for last Christmas and paid the full price. There were no sales on it AT ALL and Best Buy was completely sold out
