Great outdoor speakers

I got these to replace some Yamaha NS-AW350's outside. I got some great help from Polk tech support who answered by questions pre buy. The Atrium 6 met my needs and budget. The sound is much clearer, and the biggest improvement has been in the bass the Polk's provide over my previous speakers. These are outside wall mounted under the roof overhang for a 20x20 deck and are hooked up to a basic 100 per channel receiver. So far highs to lows sound good for a speaker this size. I looked a few other speakers in stores and online, but I found these at a great price and they were the best bang for the buck. Installation was easy, 2 screws per bracket and snap the speaker in place basically. The sound is easily heard over the whole deck. I look forward to enjoying these for a long time.
What's great about it: Bass for size and easy to install
What's not so great: None so far
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this system when I went to a VOIP offer through my cable company. With the one jack coming out of the modem, I wanted to be to use multiple phones anywhere I wanted in the house. I got the base unit package and 7 more phones to max it out with 8 total. They have tons of features, and you can connect them to your computer (usb) to load a phonebook, ringtones, or graphics. They have speakers, and they are setup more like a cell phone. They operate 3 floors away from the base unit without a problem. An internal paging system to any other phone is great. You can even transfer calls between phones and connect more people to conversation. I have had 8 of them for 3 years and only had one problem. Due to numerous drops one speaker went bad, but the rest of the phone worked. I also got these because they operate on 5.8GHz and would not interfere with my 2.4GHz home network. A great product that met all my phone needs with one jack connection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a high end router from Linksys. Hooking it up was easy, and starting it was not a problem.
Positives-
8 ports – lots of ports to plug directly into the router.
Interface and setup are easy
Dual band worked fine
Multiple VPN ports can be designated

The have icons to attach to your network devices. They have the Wemo series of products and some other generic icons, but not much else if it matters to people.

All of the comments are from the original firmware shipped with the router. The issue is, for a top end router with the matching price, it needs to have features others in the range do. Firmware upgrades should be able to fix many of these issues I think, but they should be there from the start. So, average overall since it has room to improve and should.

I did play with the position of the antennas, The link you provided has very basic information. I tried the antennas at all angles, mostly 45 and 90. The range was still not as great as other routers in this price range.

Can you have one SSID broadcasting or must you connect to one of three SSID's?
You can turn off the SSID broadcast. They doesn't stop the SSID from being transmitted, just whether or not other devices are told to display it for connecting. All of the radios can have their SSID set to broadcast or not.

What is the max load it will handle? Can it control a window air conditioner (120 V, 12 Amps)
1800w, at 15amps according to Belkin. Other people on the Wemo site have said they use it to control air conditioners.

does this wemo support devices which wok on 220-240v
Supposedly Belkin is working on a 220-240v switch. So far they are 110-120v only.

When will the new Sony BDP-S570 Blu-Ray player be available from Best Buy?
It is available in stores. I got one in BB on March 2nd. You have to ask someone for it though. They have the older ones on sale and the employee told m they were no putting the 570s on the floor until they sold more of the older models. They had the 570's hidden on the top of the selves. He had to get a ladder to get it for me. Check the stores status on BB online and if it is in stock, ask an employee to get it for you. They are there.
