I haven't had it that long, so I cannot comment on durability. I am enjoying the recipe book. However, I used a "Bread Bible" recipe for Irish soda bread and used the cake/quick bread cycle and it came out delicious. When I realized that the machine also makes pasta and jam I was pleased, but haven't used it for those yet.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and the bread comes out great. The instruction/recipe book is very helpful.
I would recommend this to a friend!
