Led Zeppelins Final Studio Album is an amazing feast in itself but before I go on , allow myself to air any differences that is out there. First whether Rolling Stone magazine, Classic Rock mag or critic Robert Crisgau have anything to say negative. Let Me point out that Despite the fact that Page and Bonham not taking part in the writing of this masterpiece (Plant and Jones did) this album was still ear candy as it was. Sure it wasn't as Heavy as the 1, 2,Houses, Physical or Presence or as landmarking as 3 or 4 but it was the most versatile of them all. An all you can eat buffet of every different genre that turned them from the Heaviest Band of all to The Architects of World Rock. I would never call In Through The Out Door the worst Zeppelin Album as in its release Initially it brought the entire Bands catalog back on the Billboard charts, a feat that had never happened before. It did however cause infighting amongst Zeppelin fans who quibbled over which was the best song( All of my love vs. In the Evening or Fool in the Rain vs. Hot Dog.) If this isn't one of the best albums the band assembled I don't know what is. Even while Page and Bonham were in the grips of addiction, They still came through with flying colors. Often called the Band Accidental Hit. It is still a mos coveted Album that you'll enjoy.
